Cleaned my vinyl so well. The reservoir was filled with dirt that was removed from the record grooves. Dump out the old and make a new batch and away you go.. This bottle will last a me a long time.

The Spin Clean Device/System is one of those simple, straight forward solutions that just works. Inexpensive, easy to use and very effective. Since buying the basic system, I don't even consider playing a record that I haven't cleaned with it. It only takes 2 to 3 minutes to clean a record and its definitely worth it in terms of the sound quality improvement and not ending up with a dust clump on the stylus by the end of side one. It only takes a couple capfuls of cleaner to do 25 - 50 record albums. It's a nice system that they have kept on refining since 1975 to where it's just about perfect now.

I hear time and time again people mixing their own concoctions which claim to offer similar or identical performance, while saving money. Think about this... These guys have been making this stuff for 40 years now, and I can't help but imagine here and there once in a while they keep improving it. Either way, it works very well, and this 32 oz bottle, while $30 (a bit to stomach), will clean thousands of records. Even if you're more aggressive on changing the bath water (I don't think I've ever done 50 bottles in one bath/one cap-full like they say), you're still getting a few thousand. Divide 30 by 2,000 or so and all of a sudden you have a bargain. The packaging did change at some point, the bottles used to be solid plastic white, now they are translucent. Not sure if that is good for the fluid with minor exposure to light/UV, but it is convenient to see the fluid level without peering in or guessing. Take the time, get this, clean your vinyl, and appreciate the results in a better performance. This stuff works great, leaves a great sheen on a clean piece of vinyl, and also encapsulates the dirt and sinks it to the bottom of the basin, herein lies their secret so you don't just re-seat the same funk on the next piece you clean. Take that, Mr. homemade knock off. Who honestly knows how this compares to the UV cleaners you see at shows and in magazines that go for thousands... Somebody want to loan me their UV cleaner, I'll take notes!
