Animal Planet: Vet Life - Nintendo DS

This game has been a blast for both of my boys, my 7 yr old (who wants to be a vet) and my 10 yr old too. It has actual cases from Animal Planet shows, and gives them some experience caring for domestic & wild animals, including laser surgery. Great DS game! The incessant Meowing of the Kitty supervisor could get old, but listening to any of these games as a parent can be tedious, but that reminds you to tell them to take a break once in a while.

My 10 yr old daughter loved this game, it definitely peaked her interest in becoming a vet. However, she was able to finish the game in less than a day. It definitely needs more events/challenges added to make it a more worthwhile purchase. May be best to consider this for a younger child.

My daughter completed this game within a week, but she had fun with it so it gets a good review. She loved figuring out what was making the animals sick and then healing them.

My 11 year old daughter LOVED this game for the ONE day that it took to complete it. There was nothing new for her to do after she had already taken care of all the animals so I'm sure she won't play with it again.

My 14 year old daughter states "This is a fun game. I love animals and there is a lot to do on this game. I also have Zoo Hospital for the DS but it is not near as fun as this game."

I bought this for my daughter, and she completed it in half an hour and has not gone back to it. I was pretty disappointed, I thought there would be more to do in the game, rather than the same things over and over once you have done everything.
