I despise using cables in our garden because they're always too short and the faff of getting out an extension lead puts me off.I have other Einhell tools so this was an obvious choice when looking for a replacement strimmer as I can share the batteries around.I bought this one instead of the 'blade' type one after reading reviews as I strim near brickwork, trees etc. and the spool type has better longevity.Very lightweight. I'm 36 and use heavy petrol tools for other jobs, but it's nice to have the lightweight ones for the odd bit of tidying up - that said, I took this to our cider club and the entire team had a go at strimming around the 50+ trees and this made easy work of it. Everyone (ages 36-60) found the tool easy to use and gave great feedback; one has since bought the same model for use at home!My only gripe is with Amazon for not shipping the combo pack to my mainland UK (Bristol) location despite advertising it as I would have liked to have an extra battery. My 4.0 and 2.0aH batteries died about 90% of the way through the orchard cut - I'd guess about 90 minutes runtime with 70-80% duty cycle.

purchased as we bought into the Einhell Power X-Change system, works on edging and general garden care , line feed works well

It hasn't got the same power as a electric or petrol strimmer ... but non the less it's ideal for small jobs ie trimming grass / weeds round the garden . Only downside the auto spool feeder doesn't work but u just manually pull it out by pressing a button

Great item for trimming the lawn and the edges neatly. Replacement spools easily available. Easy to use and great weight good battery life

Simply put I don't think many people would have regrets buying this. It's very lightweight, the head can be rotated to be vertical for cutting lines around slab paths etc., it doesn't drain the battery quickly at all (though I have the highest capacity), and is ergonomic to use. I'm impressed with Einhell's quality-to-cost value.

We purchased this light-weight strimmer despite already owning the more heavy-duty brush cutter (with full blade). They complement each other nicely. Sometimes you don't want to pull out the big rig just to trim the grass around garden beds or fences, for example.We now have a collection of about six Einhell tools using the Power X-Change lithium ion batteries. They are all solid, without the premium price of the more heavily advertised brands. Thus, Einhell provides good value for the money. No regrets so far.

perfect for small gardens

Strimmer works well, nice and lightweight and battery provides enough power. Build quality of though, the strimmer cover is of poor design that isn't secure (no clip) so it falls loose easily. The metal wire guard is the same...keeps falling off. To top it off, the auto feed on the strimmer cable has broken after 2 uses so now have to disassemble it each time more cable needed.

Lo he comprado cuando terminó de romperse el Gardena que tenía anteriormente, y este funciona de maravilla. No pesa demasiado, funciona con hilo en lugar de la basura esa de las cuchillas de plástico, hace poco ruido, y la batería de 2Ah aguanta bastante.Muy recomendable.

Der Rasentrimmer macht erstmal was er soll, Rasen trimmen und das auch ziemlich gut. Auch Farn usw. sind kein Problem solange noch nicht verholzt.Die Handhabung ist sehr einfach die Verstellmöglichkeiten rasten gut ein, man sollte sie aber sauber halten sonst kann es mal hängen.Es gibt nur einen negativen Punkt und das ist bei längerem Arbeiten das Gewicht. Da kein Gurt dran ist wird er auf Dauer schwer. Natürlich wusste ich das vor dem Kauf, dass keiner dabei ist, aber für jemanden der Regelmäßig länger damit arbeitet möchte, könnte es dadurch unangenehm werden und sollte zu einem Gerät mit Gurt greifen.Fazit: klare Kaufempfehlung von meiner Seite

op 6 juni gekocht, levertijd aangegeven 3 dagen. op 15 juni nog niet in levering. Ben erg teleurgesteld. niet aan te raden!
