A little trial and error to install, but they hold surprisingly well. My toddlers have stopped even trying! I’m giving this product 5 stars because a few days ago I baked a layer cake. My cake pans are behind a (you guessed it) locked cabinet door. I unlocked the door, got my pans, poured in my batter and popped them in the oven at 325 for just under 30 minutes. It was only after taking the pans out and setting them on the cooling rack that I realized the key had attached itself to the side of my metal pan. This could have been very bad - but it held up! The plastic melted, and the magnet is definitely turned, but it didn’t even scorch. Obviously I was extremely lucky that this situation didn’t go south, but I am supper impressed with the quality of this product! I included a picture of the key.

Great idea to use 3m adhesive to hold these instead of screws. These went up quickly using the included guide-my only wish would be for some instructions to help indicate the best method for using the guide. These work every bit as well as the Safety1st ones we had previously installed (added bonus is that the magnets work for both products). Only downside to the tape over screws is that you have to have a flat door (which our bathroom cabinets didn't have) to use-but for most people this is the fastest way to secure cabinets without tools (and also one of the least expensive). A great added feature is the support for missions in Ethiopia.

I've bought four packs of these locks so far. I have Houdini trickster children, and they can bust through any child lock I've thrown their way (until these). The latch locks have too much "give" to them, so my kid gets too much leverage and can just bust them apart. Not only do these magnet locks have almost no give at all, but they're also easy to disengage in case you need to use a drawer/cabinet without kids around and don't continually want to unlock it.The only suggestions I have are: it would be nice to have some spare adhesive pads and the removal floss included, and some sort of graphical instructions as well. It seems obvious now, but my husband and I didn't know what the guide was for until we'd placed all the locks (some of them incorrectly).

This product is absolutely amazing! I love how easily it functions, how simple it was to install, and the fact that it's visually hidden. The 3M adhesive is super strong, but can be repositioned with some muscles. If repositioned, then it keeps the sticky strength, and it doesn't damage the surface. The key that unlocks is easy to store out of child's reach. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking to keep a toddler (or adult!) out of cabinets or drawers. I will probably be ordering more of these for my upstairs.

Like the idea and the magnet worked great. However we installed these (very easy process) on a knife drawer and the cabinet under the sink holding the trash can. Next day, our 2 year old was able to open both. The adhesive just wasnt strong enough. If there was an option to screw them into the surface that would be better. Going to return.

My one year old is not happy that she can’t get into the cupboards anymore but I am thrilled :) took me a second to figure out installation because I didn’t notice the key but once I started using it I could install it in seconds. Love that you can set it to unlock as well because when I’m cooking I need access to the garbage a lot. I highly recommend.

I have bought locks like these before and installing them was always a bit of a pain. These came with a jig that made installing them super easy! The magnet "key" is great too - older kids who figured out how to bypass the old junky locks we use to have are mystified at how we are keeping the cabinets shut.

Incredibly easy to install!!!! Took seconds! Working perfectly so far and I absolutely love that they have a switch to turn the locks off when not needed. I included a picture of the 2 pieces inside the guide that makes installation so easy. They slide in and out of it.
