Box
Box was trashed as if it was 2nd hand or returned, bow is loose, won't. Make a sound, bow strings are falling out

it IS a beginner erhu…
the sound quality is quite terrible though, I assumed that it was squeaky because I was bad at playing it until my friend who played it for a couple years before me was surprised at the sound it made even when they play mine. 🙃 I guess you get what you pay for though. If you do order the product fair warning, do NOT cut the white string wrapped around the spine and bows.

Great price for a beginner instrument, but a bit disappointed because it came missing the artificial skin panel

Poor quality instrument and did not have Artificial Skin Panel
The instrument barely has a sound and the Artificial Skin Panel -as shown in the description- was replaced with cheap piece of wood, like balsa wood. Definitely does not look or sound as described and pictured. Very disappointing.

Great noise maker
Bought this for my son he loves it. All the instructions are in Chinese but it wasn't nothing you tube couldn't take care of

URHU: quality sound quality build
Total bargain at the price! Great Beginning Urhu, not plastic, not cheap,comes with EVERYTHING you need...a bow, rosin, comes 95% assembled, sound is good....ten stars the only thing not included is hard work and dedication needed to master this instrument. Proper tuning is the key..stop blaming the instrument in the reviews,if you want to learn this tool,this is the closest you will come to an authentic Urhu. I am in love,I think about it while I am away from it, I run home to it everyday and play it! Iiss it when we are separated 😂pretty sure if it was shitty or didn't work properly I would NOT feel like this! Thank you Amazon thank you China! Remember this instrument has been around unchanged for thousands of years..think about that! Great quality,great sound great look!!

Worry about the longevity of the bow
Update:Thanks to the excellent customer service that almost immediately responded to my concern and helped solve the problem to my satisfaction. Good to know they care about customers, which is also what customers care about.It plays ok, but the bow keeps losing mane(hairs) , particularly when applying rosin, as it scratches heavily. After using for two days, the bow has become thinner. Wonder if the merchant supplies new bows with reasonable cost?
