Unmatched: Marvel - Hell's Kitchen - Strategy Fighting Superhero Game for Family, Teens & Adults by Restoration Games

My husband and my son are addicted to unmatched games. This has been a great game for our son who has dyslexia. He doesn’t like to read, but he will read the cards for this game and he gets very excited about it. I’m incredibly grateful for this game. He has introduced it to his friends and now and his friends like to play it. My son is 10 years old, but my seven year-old son is also able to play.

One of the best Unmatched sets, my favorite of the Marvel sets

Very good set. Nice characters and very good map. One of the best Marvel sets, but overall it's "only" nice (except for Daredevil, I love him)... (Very good and fun, but there are better sets)

Unmatched makes an excellent Marvel group with this set. These fighters have a long history together that adds a fun backstory to the game. As always, this is a stand alone complete game and expansion to the existing games. Excellent map with an option to enhance actions by being on spaces. Each fighter is unique with some very different abilities. This box has no "doormat" fighter! Bullseye might be dominate but this is a balance set that fits well into the existing system. Very very close to a "Must Have" set.

I love the Unmatched system, but if I'm being honest, there is a definite risk of the format becoming stale with each new expansion of fighters. Within the framework of the rules, the fighters can all start to feel a bit similar to one another with the exception of 1 or 2 unique cards. Thankfully, Restoration Games seems to have considered this possibility and they are making a solid attempt to bring out new sets that really push the creativity of the game mechanics. When first looking at the contents of this box, an experienced player might scratch their heads over the fact that Bullseye seems to have quite a few more cards in his deck and either Elektra or Daredevil. But the reason for this becomes clear when looking at how each fighter operates: Elektra introduces a new game mechanic with her ability to be resurrected once she is killed, basically starting over with a reshuffled deck and new health and new powers. Daredevil has cards available that allow him to reshuffle cards from the discard pile back into his deck, making it more difficult for him to become "exhausted" by running out of cards. I haven't yet played any of these characters against those in other Unmatched sets (although I think a Bruce Lee / Daredevil matchup and a Bullseye / Deadpool matchup are both destined for a near future game night), but they seem pretty well balanced within this set. One free-for-all game, for example, left no clear runaway winner. By the last few turns, we were all similarly hurting on our health dials and the final winner (Bullseye) was left with only 2 health at the end. As long as Restoration Games can continue to be inventive with putting out new fighter sets, I'll continue to expand my game. I've already got the new Jurassic Park set on order, and I'm looking forward to, hopefully, more Marvel sets.

I really like this set, i thought elektra was rubbish and bullseye was the best initially…turn out it was the other way round. Daredevil is a blast to play, enjoyable like little red character and so exciting to play him. Recommended set to get and play, though i suggest to get the earlier sets to mix and match for plays would be good.

I own a lot of the Unmatched sets like all but 3 but Daredevil is my favorite by far and while I don't play a ton of Elektra I do play Bullseye as he's a blast to play maybe not the best but so much fun to play! If you are looking to get a marvel unmatched set this one and the Brains and Brawn set are probably the best two imo.

Boardgame Box is dented in multiple locations. One of the corner is torn.
