Referred to as moyu or juruo in china, and konnyaku or shirataki noodles in japan, Konjac Foods are a popular health food in the Asian markets, are instant and come in a variety of styles and shapes - you can simply toss salsa with Konjacinstant pasta for a quick meal, are translucent and gelatinous, with no flavor of their own - they easily absorb the dominant flavors of any soup or dish, are naturally water soluble fiber with no fat, sugar, starch, or protein. Review: AWESOME - I cannot say enough about how excellent this is. The taste and texture is so delicious, and although it's hard to believe it's zero calories, my body says that's true. Great for diabetics, great for losing weight... not great if you're literally starving because this isn't going to provide any nutrition, just a delicious experience. Feels like food, tastes like food :) Way better than standard shirataki if you've tried that.
