They aren't thicker than the standard pads by much, so you don't have to worry about a large becoming a medium. Yet another high quality, well built product from Team Wendy that is worth every penny!

Good comfort without squishing my brain

I went from running the standard Team Wendy ZAPs to the addition of a USGI brow pad, thin old green pads to this and it is a world of difference. The old issue green pads did not protect your head. The ZAPs would rub sore spots into your head after a few hours and required constant adjusting. And if your head happened to be a little imperfectly shaped the pads made sure to remind you of it. No issue with the CloudLine system. It is easily adjustable, has more channels for air to pass through, and because of the smaller hexagonal design it even fits closer to your head without soreness. Mine works fine with the standard H style ECH straps. I recommend this for any helmet, not just ballistic because it's just so comfortable and a helmet only works if it's on!

Works as a drop-in for both the ACH and IHPS. It is absolutely worth the money, especially when in the field or on a deployment. Just hold on to your issued pads for jumps. (Also, invest in a small mesh laundry bag. You can rip these pads out after the field, bag them, and toss them in with the rest of the laundry that way. If the velcro circle adhesive starts to wear, the kit has extra. Plus, velcro circles are easy to source elsewhere if need be.)

This is by far one of the best things you can buy if you wear a kevlar a lot. It is extremely comfortable, breathes well, and has eliminated the dreaded kevlar headache that I would always get from the issued pads. I put off this purchase for several years and I'm kicking myself for doing so. Best purchase I've made in a long time! easy to install with lots of padding options.
