Johnson and Johnson Reach Dentotape 100 Yards Waxed Floss, Unflavored

This dentotape is easier to use in tight spaces and gets out more debris than regular floss. I have used it for many years and will continue to do so.

It is difficult to find a dental floss that is not mint flavored. I avoid mint because it is an anticoagulant and can cause problems if too much is ingested (which happened to me a few years ago). This floss is waxed and flavorless, perfect for my needs.

I was expecting a floss that was wider, somehow different than a regular floss. My expectations were not fulfilled. I cannot distinguish any difference between this floss and any other.

I haven't been able to find this floss in any stores. They have their own brands but they're not as good! Being flatter & thicker, it removes more plaque. If your contacts between your teeth are tight, it may not be the best one.

The dentotape is just fine. It is the enclosure holding the tape, I object to. First off, the small metal cutting hooks on top needed bending upwards to make them able to snag the tape. Second, the top of the plastic container routinely flips open and lets the roll of tape go flying. The top's "snap" that is supposed to hold the top down is not nearly strong enough to ensure that a cutting off a a piece of tape does flip the top open. I have to tape the lid closed to make it practical.

This is the regular Reach Dentotape, available in drug and grocery stores. I have been searching for a wider tape and kept this one because it is the only one that's usually available. Will keep searching.

Almost too thick if your teeth are crowded.
