could not mount except close to the tip which defeats the purpose of buying this waste of money does not fit buck 110 model

Ok it fits! It's tight! You have to rock it on the blade then tap it down! After I man handled it a little it's on and it's not going to fall off!

I liked the idea of having an extra grip for my fingers to open the blade. It was a tight fit and had to be persuaded to go on the blade. Once on the blade, it provided the grip that was needed, however it did get in the way of the blade when using the knife. So far, I haven’t decided whether I should remove the thumb grip or leave it on.
