Longines HydroConquest Black Dial Automatic Mens Watch L3.741.4.56.6

This is a winning watch style from the historic Longines brand. I looked at a wide range of watches; some cost less and many cost several times as much. But this size is not easy to find these days, and the style is elegant and classic while durable enough not to have to think twice about while swimming, sailing, skiing, cycling, etc. I had mild concerns purchasing something this costly online, but the seller explains how they get the watches and Amazon vets them, so I am happy to have saved some 30% off what I would have paid in a store. If you are considering this dive watch, it is a winner-- accurate, stylish and very durable-- and the seller was excellent. Longines has a long history and though the watch looks great at the office, it is built for years of sports and outdoor use.

The design of the new Hydroconquest with the ceramic bezel is arguably superior. But by choosing to go more minimalist in its design (by losing the bar indices) Longines lost some of the tooly qualities of their original design. I find this watch superior in that way. It looks like an old school dive watch, a tool, rather than a fashion statement. The finishing is unbelievable, too.

I received the timepiece promptly, it is of good quality, and I am amazed by the accuracy; honestly, I did not expect this. I'm pleased!

The watch looks great, but the operation of the timepiece is very frustrating. It took time to set the correct time and date on it, and the operating dial was no fun at all. I thought several times to return it, but I had already taken some links out of the band.

I bought this watch to my husband on our anniversary. He wore it during our last 2 weeks vacation in Mexico & was very happy to swim with it. It’s accurate, sportive & elegant....

Beautiful watch, perfect design and fit. The first time I used the watch, it seemed little heavy, but after some days of use I feel it normal.

Like the overall look but unfortunatly for a watchc costing as much as it does their are so many other watches with better quality. First the overhang of the lugs too the endlink, the cheapness of the bezel, and NO LUME on the 2nd hand?? Def a sporty watch but not true diver.
