The media could not be loaded. Though I'm an avid consumer, writing product reviews is something I avoid like sour milk and dog poop on my shoe. That being said, this product deserves mention. My wife and I have been feeding hummingbirds for nearly 40 years. We've had multiple generations of these beautiful and fascinating creatures come to our home every year to birth their babies, feed and return to their winter homes and we get 30 to 40 birds per season, drinking a quart of sugar water (or more) a day.We've tried all manner of feeders, from small plastic ones starting out, to the well known "World's Best" feeder that I found at a trade show some 30 years ago (we have 4 of them). All have their pluses and minuses. Some have glass containers and the bases separate for cleaning, but the hole in the glass container is too small to easily clean and the feeding position is not ideal. Others have beautiful glass containers, but are held precariously by a small glass loop at the top and their supposedly "rust proof" metal bases are not as "proofed" as they'd like us to believe (rust will poison the birds).Finally, after much searching on Amazon, we found this Billion Sky feeder. It's 28 ounce capacity is reasonably large, not quart size, but close. The beautiful red glass container is hung from a steel bail that is securely fastened to its top and the fill hole is large enough for a bottle brush. The base is two piece for easy cleaning, made of sturdy high grade plastic with an O-ring seal, it has soft rubber flowers, removeable perches that are well positioned and comes with a small ant moat hook system for hanging. These are 6 station feeders, so plenty of room for these aggressive, territorial little dive bombers, though it doesn't stop them from knocking each other around, as they always do!Additionally, the company provides a small brush for cleaning the drinking holes and an extra flower if one gets lost. And, it's very reasonably priced!For some reason, the birds stopped feeding from the "World's Best" feeders this season, showing the highest preference for a smaller 3 station one that has a more favorable feeding position with yellow flowers. This might be the result of putting the smaller one out first and the birds acclimating to it. We used the "World's Best" feeders for decades without issue and they are a well made product. I purchased 3 of the Billion Sky feeders and we immediately washed, assembled (a very easy process), filled, and put them up. The hummers needed only a minute or two to fully acclimate to them. These feeders are really gorgeous and nicely compliment our Corinthian Bells chimes (my wife's all time favorite gift!)I only just received these feeders yesterday, but am so impressed that I've taken the time to write this review and attach a photo so you'll know I'm not a shill, nor did I get anything from this company, though the red ones we ordered are on sale right now and, in my mind, an exceptional deal. The large red ant moats are ours. We decided to leave them up. The smaller black one that is par of the hook/hanging assembly, came with the feeders and is adequate if filled with mineral oil. Water would evaporate too quickly if left for a prolonged period.Hopefully the time spent writing this review will help both newbies and veterans alike and save you some of the hundreds of dollars I've spent over the last 40 years looking for the perfect feeder, because this is it!I can honestly say that there's nothing I would change or modify on these feeders, they're really that good!FWIW, my wife and I live on a 100+ acre farm and feed all of God's creatures out here... It's our own little nature reserve. By day, I'm a metal fabricator by trade and have built equipment for some of largest Fortune 500 corporations, am an admitted tinkerer, willing to modify ANYTHING that I feel needs it, and have no problem building, or re-building everything from our house and garage, to my computers and tools.Best of luck in your hummer feeding adventures! Please be sure to keep your feeders clean, change the sugar water regularly so it doesn't spoil, and don't use dye or pre-made feeding solution. Clean filtered water mixed in a 4 to 1 ratio using quality cane sugar will do the trick. Consistency is the key. Happy feeding!

Bought this for my mother and noticed it dripping. She had not tightened the top on properly. I cleaned it easily and it has worked great after instructing her to tighten it properly. Looks great and the birds love it. This is the kind the birds can perch on. I would buy more when needed. The cheap plastic ones are the worst.

Very nice hummingbird feeder. Since putting it up I have had several hummingbirds stop by for a drink. The perches are a nice feature and the birds sit on them. The glass is good quality and the design looks great. No leaking at all. Excellent product!

Overall, this is a beautiful feeder. I am hoping the hummingbirds think so as well. The only drawback is the little perches that attach to the feeder. Some of them are fine but a few of them keep falling off of the feeder. I saw last night that hummingbirds are heading my way so put the feeder out today.

Just what we wanted! Glad bottles with plastic bottoms so they don't rust. The color was perfect. A very pale, clear pink. They look so beautiful in our backyard. Very well made. Both glad and plastic bottom. Comes with extra flower pieces jic. But, it was even better than I had expected. Very happy with my purchase!

I have purchased (sadly before this one) A LOT of hummingbird feeders. And though some have worked for a while...this one was perfect right out of the box!!! I will definitely buy another one. AND, I will be buying some as Christmas gifts. This would also make a great gift as it's so sturdy and almost fail proof for first time hummingbird feeding experiences. I have been using this one for about 4 months now and the ants hardly bother with this one. I don't know why, I hung it in the same place as the others. I think one reason might be because it doesn't "leak" fluid the whole time it's hanging there. The hummingbirds loved it immediately. I did not install the purches that were included but really appreciate the ant moat. The best thing about this moat is the fact that it's big enough to put a drop of soap in it and then fill with water. The soap makes it harder for the ants to crawl across and the moat is bigger so there is more water to last longer. These people thought of EVERYTHING when designing this. The red glass is gorgeous and the "flower" ports are easy to clean and (I assume) access of for the birds that use them. Don't buy anything else, this is the best value and I'm certain will last for many years to come. Thank you Billion Sky for knowing how to do this and doing it right!!!

This is honestly the perfect hummingbird feeder. Super easy to clean all parts - especially with the little cleaning wand that comes with it. I’ve had mine out for almost 2 months, in direct sunlight and completely uncovered, and it still looks brand new with no fading and 0 rust in sight. The only thing I’ve done is hand wash with hot water every time I need to refill (typically once or twice a week). 10/10 would definitely recommend and the hummingbirds would have to agree! Wish there were more on the market like it.

I'm very happy with this feeder. The bottom is heavy plastic and the flowers are a soft silicone, so there should be no rusting. It is very easy to fill and clean. I also love the bright red colour and the design is lovely. The birds seem to love it as well!

Quality is amazing and very beautiful. Can hold large amount of sugar solution and has 6 feeding holes. I have 7 to 8 sunbirds visiting continously throughout the day. My earlier feeder had to be filled everyday but this one lasts 4 to 5 days. I'm very happy.

I really liked the feeder, it is easy to clean and open and the bottom part is a strong plastic, not flimsy and won't rust. The feeder never leaks either. The rubber or silicone flower openings to drink are strong and easy to clean and yeah! won't rust again! I love the shape and the colour of the glass feeder. Problem with other feeders is being made of plastic they become mildewy and hard to clean and metal bottoms rust. With this particular feeder, it's glass at the top, and the bottom is a real thick sturdy easy to clean plastic and rubber/ silicone. Bees do not get trapped inside, very important! The price was fair and I would buy again. In fact I am looking for an Oriole feeder as my old ones were plastic and became mildewy, hard to clean, leaked and bees became trapped. I disposed of those. I would buy Oriole feeders from this company if they would make them too!
