I'm a real estate photographer in San Diego and have been using my CamFi for about 6 months. I shoot approximately 500 scenes per week, so I've given this little box a good workout. I compared it to the over priced competition and the transfer time in RAW was over 5 seconds faster. No problems linked up to my Nikon D810. Maybe once out of 100 shots do I lose connection and need to turn my camera off and on again.Considering its half the price of the competition AND it's faster, absolute no brainer for me. I've recommended it to colleagues and they love it as well. Looking forward to the Pro being released soon, supposedly it will be even faster than the current model.

Lack of Customer Support
The biggest issues that I have with this device is the lack of customer support. I purchased this device and for the most part it works good, other than being extremely slow displaying the image after the shot and the short battery life. However, I have noticed that the "Stacking", i.e. Focus Stacking, button is not enabled. I have the CF102 behind a Nikon D300S. Everything I have researched, says it should be functional. I have sent emails to customer support, as well as left post on the forum on the support page of Camfi. I have gotten zero response from them. I've been trying for over a week now, and no response.

Two Stars
El 60% de las veces funciona. Y en algunos lugares definitivamente no funciona de la manera que trates.

Works OK. A bit buggy
Works OK. A bit buggy1) Boot time is slow. When you turn the power on it takes 10s of seconds for the wifi to be detected.2) USB enumeration is buggy. When connected to the camera, sometimes the app says camera not connected. This requires cycling power on the camera and re-plugging USB to camera. Since it is supposed to work with a small number of cameras, they should test and fix these issues before releasing the product. Once connected and camera is finally detected, works great.

Slow
The product is very well made and does not feel cheap. For wireless shooting, it leaves very little to like. It is really slow both in its initial connection and even slower after the shot. I originally purchase the Pro version and even that was slow. I thought that this unit would be faster because it does not have all the bells and whistles. Build a fast Wireless Remote and I'll in first in line even if it cost a bit more. By the way, the battery does not last too long. About half of what was written. I did not test it but it did not last very long.

Nice product
Setup was very easy and I love the stability of the connection. Ordered this as I wanted to try controlling my Canon 70d remotely. Could be fully charged from my usb port on my MacBook in about an hour. The price was great, build construction fine and I don't get all wrapped up in details about what it's $300 dollar competition will do or what this won't do. It fills my requirements.Fun to experiment with and so far, no lag in responding to my changes in settings.

I am computer savvy, a photographer for 15 years, and had high hopes for this to rival the camranger. Not even close, this product just doesnt work. I would never use this on set or in front of a client. Its slow, its buggy, and im upset that i spent the money on it and the adapters. I gave it a chance and it keeps failing, Too late for a refund, oh well.
