This order is great - I would like to buy some longer around 13 to 14" extended - do you sell those?
Solid product worth the money --- I just need ones a little longer around 13 to 14" extended - do you sell those?

Good Value for the Price, but Fit and Finish is Rough and Inconsistent.
I bought these for the lid on a Hope Chest for my granddaughter. They are real brass, and not just plated steel, which is nice. However, the fit and finish is rough, with lots of imprecise hand work done, especially around the hinge points. The screw pads are not perfectly parallel to the hinge joint, so one of them tended to catch on the edge of the chest. A little finessing corrected that.I wish there were at least rudimentary instructions as how to install them as I ended up drilling one mounting hole twice since I couldn't close it... Fortunately it was covered by the mounting pad. They're good for the price I paid, and worked well, but you'll probably want something nicer for fine woodworking.

There's only 6 screws when there should be 8
The product is is okay but not well machined. I'm putting on an antique piece of furnace so the poorly machined hinge gives it an antique quality. I needed 8 matching screws and only got 6. I sent the seller an email and they didn't care to respond. I guess they don't think it's important that 8 screws are needed instead of 6 to mount the hinges. If I needed these hinges to be more precise I would not buy these. They are sturdy, but that's all I can say.

Solid Brass, antique brass finish lid lifts are a good buy!
Just right for bigger chests...was looking for solid brass that looked old, and this fit the bill! These are a little rough in workmanship, but the price is right.

Nice finish but poor make :(
This lid stays are very nice finished and quite sturdy, but unfortunately one piece of the pair I got has a defect- the axis of the table arm side is in a slant direction, which makes it impossible to install because of the angle the arm reachs during the closing of the folded table.the price is decent so you can take the chance but for me it didnt work...

These look great
These look great. Solid, heavy, old-looking.Bit stiff when I got them but a bit of WD and they are sweet. Used them for a standing desk I made. I’ll be buying more in the future

BROKE 30 SECONDS AFTER INSTALLATION - BUT FIXABLE
Item looks very good, nice bronze patina, somewhat stiff operation - but this actually made the drop-front door open more slowly so that it wouldn't slam open. But one of the lid stays came apart after only a few uses. It separated at the top bracket - the pin holding the arm to the bracket isn't properly peened over. The manufacturer, either through design flaw or cheapness, didn't allow for a long enough pin to properly peen back over the hole to ensure a proper construction.Only purchase this product if you are willing to properly fix the brackets with a drill press, a thread tapper, and set screws to permanently attach the arms to the upper brackets. If not, then LOOK ELSEWHERE.UPDATE - Was able to effect a fix by easily punching out the defective pin, and using a #8 3/4" round-head screw tapped into the wood of the furniture piece to anchor the top of the bracket. One star added to review due to easier fix than anticipated.

Perfect For Large Projects
The media could not be loaded. I used this on 96" bench project with soft close shocks. They are strong and keep the top open perfectly. I only needed to use one and have used this daily for the past year.
