This is exactly what I was looking for. Torx short structural screws. They are heavy duty construction (check the manufacturer specifications). Rare or really hard to find at Home Depot or Lowe's (I don't know why). The purchase was fast and simple, and the delivery via Amazon Prime was quick. I recommend this seller and product to anyone who is looking for a structural screw with a flanged head in short length. Do not use the cabinet screws. This are much better for you if you are using it for structural purposes such as building a deck.

They aren't cheap, but they drive straight and are strong. I am building a shed ramp that calls for large, galvanized lag bolts. I purchased a slightly heftier version of this bolt that can be used as a lag bolt and used it instead larger, galvanized Hillman lag bolts and they work as advertised. I don't need to drill pilot holes and the built in washer head keeps them from penetrating too far into soft pressure treated lumber. I am using the bolts in this box as strong structural screws in other parts of the shed. Next comes a custom outdoor table and firewood shed and I will use GRK fasteners for those as well.

I do a lot of handy man type projects around the house and I find myself going to these type of screws for many of my projects. I have purchased an abundant of these in many sizes. They are strong and perform very well. No stripping of the head and can reused.

I found this type screw a the hardware store .The project was Cement fence boards. So I used again but this time on wood boards.I only use three per board top Mid and bottom. the added built on washer does the trick and saves 50% of screw's and screwing.

These cut right into wood as promised - no pre-drilling required. The product box is nice and sturdy, and I like that they include one bit with each pack.

Excellent screws for use whe had in mind--boarding up windows for Irma. Self drilling in wood, and the torx head makes driving them and removing them easy.

These are fantastic pull down hard and strong dont snap off even using my 1/4" impact driving them.

used this product to secure 6x6 posts to screw pile plates. this product is the cats meow. does not require predrilling as a lag screw would.

These were perfect for my particular application - great if you're biting into 2-by material.

Fantastic fasteners. They are a bit pricey but they are tough and hold strong.Both the head and the threads are very hard to strip.
