Great tasting Pizza sauce base
Diffidently a BIG can of sauce, I'm not a commercial customer but love to make pizza a lot in our home. I should divide the sauce up and freeze it, and take what I need for the refrigerator, Now for the sauce! I got this sauce do to my favorite pizza parlor in St. Augustine Fl "Pizza Time" uses this sauce, I see the full cans on display there so I thought I would order it. The sauce very thick, Has a great bright Tomato color so its not over cooked and dark. They keep this sauce simple and light, so that you can add your own spice to it. I do not like a spiced up sauce or an acid sauce, and Full-Red is perfect, I just use it cold out of the refrigerator, I got it with basil, the basil is finely chopped/mixed you can barely see it so the basil is not over powering. Like the Can says it is a base so I'm sure every pizzeria will add a little of their own extra flavor to the sauce. For now I just use it as is, I may add just a touch of garlic next time and experiment a little more, but this is good stuff for sure and happy with the purchase.

Great for many dishes!
Though I have made all my sauce throughout my life I always wanted a quick "go to" sauce that did not take me all afternoon. Being 100% Italian I felt it was I was not being "traditional" . This sauce was a huge hit. Amazing! Could not believe the flavor. On Pizza, pasta, chicken parm, you name it. The can is big. Once opened and used for a pizza, I just spooned the rest in small zip lock bags and froze them. For the price you would spend 5 times more buying jars of band "x" . Great stuff period!

This is the real sauce for pizza, it's all I use anymore.

Good sauce, bad delivery
Lost a star because whoever is shipping these 7 lb cans of sauce is not packaging them in a manner that protects them. My can arrived dented at the seams so I have to throw it out. Amazon is giving me a refund. I know a pizzeria that uses this sauce for their pizzas and if you season it, the sauce will smell and taste like a real New York slice (the sauce anyway - gotta get the cheese and crust right).

SECRET PIZZA PLACE SAUCE
I ALWAYS WONDERED WHAT SAUCE MY LOCAL PIZZA STORE USED ON ITS PIES, I HAD GOTTEN A GLIMPES OF THE CAN IN THE BACKGROUND AT MY LOCAL PIZZA STORE AND FOUND THE SAME SAUSE HERE ON AMAZON. I LOVE THIS SAUCE AND YOU WILL TOO. THIS SAUCE IS BY FAR THE BEST SAUCE TO USE ON HOME MADE PIZZA. TRY IT YOU WILL LOVE THE TASTE. VERY RICH AND ROBUST TOMATO FLAVOR.
