It's okay
Not really the best, it's cardboard and stickers so, use that information to make a decision. It folds and uses little cardboard pieces to hold together. Stickers move pretty easily but don't stick back to the paper great. It's alright, wouldn't replace our regular battleship, but for a cheap little game, it does the job.

Not sturdy and tedious to play
I received this as a gift for my kids to play. The board is flimsy and the vinyl stickers don't adhere well. You spend more time trying to make the components work than playing the game. I'll be replacing it with the real version. It's a nice option if you'll only be playing once with older kids/teens, but it's not the right option to introduce younger kids to the game.

Virtually unplayable
The hit and miss pieces are so small, it’s really hard to grab and place them on the board. And when you do place something on the bottom, if you’re not really careful, the board falls apart. Oh, and the two sides of the board are connected, so you can’t sit across the room from each other while playing.

Buy 2 sets for travel
If you buy 2 sets (so the players don't have to be sitting directly across from each other at a table), this is a great way to play Battleship in a vehicle. The Colorforms pieces stay put much better than pegs ever will. If the vehicle travels on a bumpy road or if the game board falls on the floor, everything stays in place!

Not good!!!
I bought this for $1.25 at Dollar Tree. It's the exact same one. It's maybe worth the dollar but nothing more. Stickers are iffy. The board won't stand without help. Not worth it.

$1.25 at the dollar store
Just bought this today at the dollar tree for $1.25. won't even pay that again. Super flimsy and annoying to use.

Trash - a great way to ruin a childhood memory with your child
The punishment for the person who sold me this game should be to play it with a 6 year old. The paper does not fold right. The stickers don’t stick to the battle ships. Trash
