How much of this should I use in a 2.5g nano tank with <10 neocaridina shrimp?

I use about an eighth of the scoop ever other day in my 10 gallon with 10 Cherry shrimp. Everyone seems to be happy. Hope that helps.

Do you need to refrigerate after opening?

I do not refrigerate mine and it has been fine. Just keep it dry. I have not seen this being refrigerated. I do not believe it is needed.

I'm having difficulty opening the jar. The lid only turns halfway before stopping completely. Any help?

Maybe the tracks are off or something. It's just plastic too so you can maybe gently pry it from underneath while trying to unscrew it.

Will this bring down the tds in an aquarium

Gute Unterstützung für Biofilm und Aufwuchs

Nach meiner bisherigen Erfahrung scheint GlasGarten Bacter AE den Biofilm im Aquarium deutlich zu fördern. Ich habe das Gefühl, dass insbesondere meine Otocinclus davon sehr profitieren. Nach der Gabe bildet sich sichtbar ausreichend Biofilm und Aufwuchs an Scheiben und Einrichtungsgegenständen. Ein zusätzliches Zufüttern war bislang nicht notwendig, da die Tiere offenbar genug natürliche Nahrungsgrundlage im Becken finden. Für Aquarien mit Aufwuchsfressern aus meiner Sicht eine sinnvolle Unterstützung. Ich empfehle, das Pulver vor der Zugabe mit Wasser zu mischen. Ich verwende dafür ein altes Einmachglas, gebe Wasser und das Pulver hinein und schüttle es kurz. So bleibt das Pulver nicht auf der Wasseroberfläche liegen, sondern kann sich gut absetzen und gleichmäßig im Aquarium verteilen.
