I compared these to our original Ball jars, they look and feel identical. I like the measurements on the side of the glass, though I wouldn’t rely upon them for precise measurements. They appear sturdy and weigh close to the same as the old Ball jars. They nicely fit the wide-mouth lids. All arrived tightly packaged and intact. All-in-all, I will likely purchase more once I give these a little time to see how the glass survives the abuse my children give them on our granite countertops. That will ultimately tell if the glass if quality or not.

I was concerned about the brand - as I have never heard of it. However these are well made and are the correct size.

Awesome size and quite sturdy. I use these as food storage as opposed to canning. I would purchase again.

So this is a recommendation from the Ball website. They appear sturdy. I'm able to fit the Ball lids. Looking forward to using them when canning.

These are fully compatible with ball and mason wide mouth jars, unlike some of the other supposed wide mouths offered on here for sale. They look great and seem to be of very good quality. Hefty feel in the hand. Came out of the box with no cracks, rusting of rings, scratches, etc. Buying another set today.

I just got these about 1 week ago, and so far I’ve had no issues. They came well packaged with styrofoam on bottom and top and between the glasses. There was a lid on each of the 6 jars. They look exactly as pictured on the posting.I love that there are measurements on the jar — cups and ounces on one side and milliliters on the other. I measured my ingredients in other measuring cups before putting them in the jars, and the measurements matched.I haven’t had any drops yet (knock on wood), but I have clinked them together on accident a few times and hit them on the counter accidentally without any noticeable damages.They seem to be leak-proof, but I haven’t had any super thin liquids in them yet. That’s something I’ll have to test out separately later. I can’t speak to their performance for canning, as so far I’ve only used these to store overnight oats to be able to take on the road with me and fit in my car’s cup holder (instead of having to use 5 styrofoam cups every week). The lids have a little bubble type thing on top that you usually see on jars in the stores to indicate if the jar has been opened. I’m not sure exactly how it works in the canning process, but I’m sure it has a function, lol. The lids look/feel like they’re not screwing all the way down, but I think they’re closing fine since I haven’t had any noticeable leaks. Though, again, I will need to test that separately.Very easy to clean! I put the jars in the dishwasher and I wash the two-piece lids by hand and dry them immediately. Even if I washed the jars by hand, it would be easy if I just put the dish rag inside and either shook it around or moved it around with one of my spoons/knives or something.

They shattered spontaneously without even putting anything too cold or hot in them. Very dangerous and poorly built.
