Marshmallow Circus Peanuts - Spangler Circus Peanuts Candy, 3 LB Bulk Candy

I was born in 1952. My mother always put these in our Easter baskets. I did the same with my children. This is the third time I’ve ordered these. I like to eat them in a certain order. White/vanilla, pink/bubblegum?, Orange/banana,( which is my favorite and the original), and finally yellow/lemon. I like to put them on a plate and let them dry out for a few days in the cupboard. I also do this with Peeps. My 91-year-old father taught me this. It makes it more fun to eat. They get tough and chewy, like a piece of a old fashioned bubble gum. Love these!

My Father is 98 and was telling me how he enjoyed the Circus Peanuts as a child. I ordered these and he was so happy when I gave them to him and he told me that they were as good if not better than when he was a kid. Thank You for making my Dad remember his younger days.

I bought my first bag for myself and it was a great surprise. The candy was soft and flavorful. Fresh, like it was just made. So I bought my 83 yr. Old mother a 3 lbs bag, since circus peanuts have always been her favorite, but she only likes them when they are soft. She loved them. Since then, I have bought 3 more bags and each one of them were soft and flavorful. The best candy ! Definitely a 5 star. Will keep buying this one and will recommend it to others. Thank you!

They arrived really squished together somewhat sticking to the bag, the smell was horrible and on top of that there was a small black thing attached to one, so contaminated with god knows what.Update: I went on and gave them another try, I bought flavored this time around and they were great and fresh and very good. The flavors are lightly flavored but take your time eating them separately to distinguish the flavor from the rest.

All of the 3 pounds arrived intact! I like the idea that they are sent in a zip lock bag which will help retain their freshness (includes an expiration date as well) These are soft (but not mushy) and the flavor is the same as when one would purchase the penny candies or at the five & dime. I highly recommend the seller. Thanks again, by the way i tried buying these at the store(s) and was unable to find any.

I purchased these and first time it arrived very quick. I opened the box and the large bag was not tied close. The Candy was OK. I ordered again and same thing, the bag was not tied close and the candy was not as soft. Moved it quickly. So if you order these you might request that the bag be tied for freshness. I found another source

Circus Peanuts are my husband's favorite candy and we have them in the house all the time. So I thought it would be fun to order a big bag as a surprise. These were awful! Tasted like cardboard. He actually spit his out! YUCK!

It is always hard to buy circus peanuts in a store because they are never fresh and most of the time they are as hard as a rock. This was definitely not the case with these. They were very fresh and my family enjoyed them very much. Highly recommend.
