I will not use any other brand, than pampered chef when purchasing a chopper for meat. These work well, but do not put them in the dishwasher; wash by hand if you want them to last.

OMG! Why did I not get one of these years ago??!! Holy Moly. This is one of the best inventions! I cannot believe how easy to break up hamburger and sausage is with this! Wow. I will never do without this gadget again! It's shape is perfect. It's weight is perfect. It chops with little effort perfectly. Do Not Wait Any Longer! I'm getting one for everyone I know! It is so worth every penny! I paid $20 (with Amazon Prime it was free two day shipping), but yes-it is only $11.50 plus $7.25 shipping on the pampered chef website. That's $18.75 total. So, it's $2 cheaper there, but really-why is their shipping so expensive??! The thing only weighs a couple ounces and you can ship for under $4! But, if you order something heavy-as long as your purchase is under $19.99-it's the same shipping cost.

I bought this for my mom as she makes a lot of Chili for a restaurant. She was always looking for ways to ease the meat prep part of her task. After seeing this spoon in person and regrettably not buying it for a few weeks. I found it online and purchased it for her as a gift. She has reported that it works very well and substantially improved the process of chopping meat while she browns it in the pot. Her only wish was that it was longer, as she is making large batches of Chili and uses a large pot to brown the meat. But she acknowledged most people would be using a skillet and it certainly wouldn't be a problem. We're thinking about getting one for the house.

Love this product. I have been using mine for approximately 10 years and it is still going strong. When I first received this I wasn't sure if I'd even use it much because it was so strange looking and I had never used a tool quite like it. This thing is constantly being used. It is my go-to for so many recipes. It makes blending things so easy. My favorite use is for browning ground beef-like for tacos. It works very well. I mash potatoes with it. The edges are surprisingly sharp and obviously it is durable since mine is 10 years old! It seems like every time I go to use this it's in my dishwasher...I use it that much. I just bought my mom one for Christmas this year. Hope she likes it as much as I do.

If you don't own one of these, I recommend purchasing one right now. This makes browning ground beef, chicken, turkey, sausage, etc. SO easy. You know how when you defrost a hunk of ground meat in the microwave and there's a little frozen chunk in the middle but the outsides are almost starting to cook so you don't want to put it in the microwave anymore because you'll just cook it like a meatloaf in there? DONT WORRY. Just put it in the pan and start cooking. This mighty beast will break up that annoying frozen chunk no problem. Also you save your hand strength because HAVE YOU TRIED BREAKING UP THAT WEIRD FROZEN PART WITH JUST A SPOON? 15/10 would recommend.

This utensil does many things well, including ground meat separation and vegetable mashing.

Had looked at cheaper alternatives but decided to go for this Pampered Chef branded item for twice the price as had that brand products before and been pleased with them. Product okay and does the job but looks like it’s just the China cheap alternative with a sticker on the bar code saying Pampered Chef. No branding on the product which I would have thought there should be and no Pampered Chef tag with wash instructions etc. Looks like the cheaper alternative has just been bagged up and sent out and been charged twice the price! Don’t bother ordering this one and just order cheaper meat masher instead.
