I’m not one to review anything I buy but these cables must be reviewed. So simple and yet so sophisticated. From the banana plugs ingenious fitting adjustment to the sheer weight of the cable itself they just “speak” quality. And once I had everything connected and played the first cut “mark knopler’s Sailing to Philadelphia”, I literally started smiling and laughing. Obviously my gear is great but these cables just make the sound even more pristine compared to the previous cables. And I could get this fantastic stuff through Amazon! Upgraded all my other cables to Blue jeans cables that some day.McIntosh MA252, 2000 Sonus Faber Concerto speakers, REL Strata iii sub and Wiim pro plus streamer.

Very nice quality speaker cables. I have used a lot of different speaker cables over the years from fairly “high end” to generic and the Blue Jean speaker cables are fantastic. I really like the locking banana plugs on these to keep them snug and tightly connected. I have Emotiva XPA monoblocks that have the positive and negative speaker terminals about one foot apart from each other. I had to do a slight modification to the speaker cables by pulling up the cable end jacket (more like a pair of pants) and then carefully cut the jacket surrounding the two wires back about seven inches. The “pants” part slipped right back over the main cable jacket and all was good to go. These cables are no nonsense neutral cables so they do not act as tone controls to alter the sound from my speakers. I am aware of the whole psycho acoustical effect experienced by audiophiles who claim that adding a certain cable, power cord or interconnect cable makes their rig sound better. But, the Blue Jean speaker cables did make a difference over the generic 16 gauge speaker wires I was using. Is it because the Blue Jeans are 10 gauge or the cold weld connections? I don’t know but I can say I would highly recommend these to any audiophile who wants a great speaker cable without spending a fortune.

I've got some B and W speaker I hooked these up to and i was shocked! I never leave reviews on anything on amazon, but I felt I had to with these. I had some decent basic cables from Amazon before and had seen on facebook groups about people raving about these so I decided to give them a try. They are well worth the money. The sound is so much better, I was really surprised. I'd recommend these to anybody. Really great quality and build also!

I was happy with the sound for quite some time. However, I heard that a larger wire produced even better sound quality. After I found these Ten Whites by Blue Jeans Cable on Amazon at a moderate price, I did some background research on the Blue Jeans website and then decided to give them a try. (I already used Blue Jeans connection cables for coaxial and analog audio inputs to the amp and am very satisfied.)The sound improvement from the speakers can be characterized as greater space, clarity, and dimensionality.A good set of speakers deserve to have good inputs that can bring out their best qualities. I'm happy with this purchase.

Great cable, Great price for a high quality cable. with out all the snake oil claims irreverent claims made by other name brand cable makes that are overpriced for no reason which will remain names although we and they know who they are. No claims that it prevents frequency skinning effect which of course does not in the audible range of frequencies or that silver plated copper makes a difference because the change in capacitance it offers per foot is so infinitesimally small that it could not make any contribution in any realistic length that could ever be used for home or pro theater use. Blue jean cables are extremely high quality at a great priceBeware though when ordering this cable though as amazon seems to have a lot of mislabeled stock and I keep getting the wrong product when I order now. My first two orders came I received the right cable. When I order the 8ft BJC Ten White speaker cable with locking bananas now I keep getting 8ft Canare 4S11 Speaker with Bi-wire configuration termination. Don't get me wrong Canare 4S11 good cable too especially if you have get EM field interference where you are running your speaker cable or you want a cable that tends to produce brighter mid's and hi's. In my case my amps already are brighter towards mid's and hi's i want a cable the offers more flat or even mids and highs and enhances more towards the bass which is why I chose BJC Ten White (Belden 5000UE).

So do different speaker cables really make a difference? In this case YES!I replaced Rocketfish 16 guage oxygen free copper - 7 foot long cables with these Blue Jeans Cable Ten 8 feet long. At higher volumes the difference on sounds is very noticeable. There is less distortion. The music sounds clearer. The same amplifier and speakers can play louder and sound better.I was worried that these woul be too thick but as you can see in the picture they are not much different than the copper colored 16awg cable.The other feature I really like is the locking banana plugs. I think they make a much better connection to the amp and speakers. I attribute most of the sound improvement to the lower impedance of 10 guage vs 16 guage but the better connection can't hurt.I've spent much more on speaker cables in the past but it's diminishing returns. These are great cables and give excellent sound.

I have been looking for a 20 ft. pair of speaker cables with banana plugs that would make my Fluance tower speakers and Musical Fidelity electronics sound their best. For several years I was using Audioquest Type 4 speaker cables, which sounded good, but I always felt that there was room for improvement. So I switched to Worlds Best Cables 14 guage speaker cables, and they sounded noticeabley better, but I still felt that the system was a bit short of optimal. Finally, after reading the reviews, I took a chance on the Blue Jeans Ten cables. I am finally fully satisfied with the sound of my system, and believe it is now at peak performance. I am fully sold on these cables, and love the cleanlook of the white cables, as well the adjustable tightening of the banana plugs.

I've wanted to replace a pair of really crufty old cables I use in my office for a long time and finally decided to splash out on these. My second experience with BlueJeans cables, just as great as the first.For starters, nice heavy gauge, none of that 14awg stuff, but still very flexible. I like the cold welded bananas and the locking feature is impressive and highly functional.I really appreciated the careful and modest packaging. Low waste and reusable Velcro wraps to tidy them up when not in use.And on top of it all a reasonable price considering the exchange and what not. Thanks BlueJeans for another excellent product and thanks Amazon Canada for carrying it.

Why buy this? Why bother when you can DIY? Just why?Okay, let me begin by saying I have made custom DIY cables already. I used 10 gauge wires, the highest count of strands I could find, OFC pure copper. Twisted the cable for EMI, put BFA connector on it and made sure both cables were the same length.Here I am 3 years later. For me this decision was mostly because I didn't like the look of the cable and I made poor choice for the connector type IMHO. Buying a locking banana connector is pricey and these were recommended, so... why not? connectors + best cable + welded... alright I ordered.Differences?? Yes. I am not trying to sell snake oil, just what I personally hear.- When my amp was running but my pream/dac (XLR balanced) was off on energy saving, I could hear a hum in the speaker if I put my ear to them. This is gone (I assume better insulation/EMI rejection from BJC)- The bass feels... punchier...? more defined. For lack of better wording, it's like it was starving before- The mids have more clarity and vibranceMy speakers sound a bit snappier, and less muddy; like when turn off a bass tone stack.I highly recommend these cables, I wish I just went them first instead of having the trouble to make some. My only negative point is the connectors, a light negative tho. When you screw it to lock it inside the plug, the connector wants to turn altogether, so it's hard to grip. I had to use a plier to hold the connector ends while screwing the moving part with my grip. Very happy with my purchase, the ten white looks and sound great

First class! Recommended by Audioholics. CL2 Fire-Rated. Twisted pair for sheliding. Strongest ultrasonic (and room temperature) welds for maximum signal and power throughput. Locking banana clips is the icing in the cake. Blue Jeans company are good honest people making great products for arguably the best value in North America!

I wanted terminated speaker cables that delivered quality sound. Very happy with the build quality and the locking banana plugs are very secure. The wires are quite heavy duty and as a result are not that flexible. Can’t tuck them into a tight location very easily. Overall though, great cables at a good price.
