Great sandal and solid color option!
Great sandals! Awesome to find a pair without the toe strap. The solid color is a great option- I hope they keep making these. Easier to pair with casual clothes and they don't look too much like athletic hiking sandals.

Great shoe design
I had ankle surgery and it never got much stronger. The hard soul gives me the support I need and arch support too. Along with the hight around the heel and adjustable straps, it is the only shoe I can walk in comfortably.

Comfortable
These are really comfy once you get the straps adjusted. It's a process. Good arch support.

Read before sizing up
I wear a 6.5 shoe. Despite the advice to size up from a half size, I ordered both a 6 and a 7, suspecting that the 7 would actually be too long in my case; the extra half size for me is more t accommodate my wider foot than it is for actual length. Sure enough, the 6 was a perfect fit and the 7 was WAY too long. So if you normally wear a half size, do consider whether you need the length or the extra space for width.

Disappointed in comfort level and clunkiness, but great quality.
I was really excited about these for my (first) pregnancy. My feet have begun to swell (and even lengthen), and I read that these would be great for the summer months since you can adjust the straps and they give great support. They look really cute off my feet, and they are very well made, but there are some really disappointing aspects of these sandals that caused me to give them away to Goodwill after less than a month: Arch support: Someone else described as "aggressive." That matches my experience perfectly. I have very high arches, and I got a blister on the bottom of both arches the first 3-4 times I wore these (1-hour stretches each time). They are almost too supportive, if that's possible. Sole grooves: There are crosshatched grooves on the sole of the shoe (where the bottom of your foot touches). This made the rubbing on said arches even worse for me, and when I wore them to a music festival, sand and dirt got trapped in the grooves and sandpapered my feet all day long. Ouch! Didn't think this would be remedied by any length of "breaking in period." Clunk: They look extremely clunky on my feet. Especially with slightly swollen feet, they push the fat of your feet upward and make them look even wider and puffier. They are also not so flattering if you have average-sized legs/calves or above. (They look adorable on 19-year-olds with very thin legs.) They are also very heavy to walk in. Each time I took a step, it was like my foot was lifting tiny rubber weights. Straps: I originally ordered the thinner, double straps, and then went to a store in person to try the double-strap and single-strap versions that wrap around the toe. They all pulled on my big toe, so I went with this style. It was much easier on my big toe, but because the straps are really just one long strap (i.e., pull on one part of the strap and it will affect all the other parts), when I walked they would progressively either tighten or loosen around my foot. Again, with pregnancy feet, the tightening in particular was not a nice sensation. I was hoping to walk all day in these, as I do with my Teva Zirras (discontinued...noooooo!), but it's a no-go. (Also pretty difficult to get the straps adjusted "just so"--and then to keep them there!) The design is very cute before I put it on my foot (I got the orange color), and the support is great, but at the end of the day they sat useless in my closet because of comfort and clunk issues. I think these are more popular with college-aged ladies than with 30-somethings like me for a reason. They're too clunky to be stylish on me, and they're not comfortable enough to be comfort shoes for walking long distances. Really wish they'd bring back Teva Zirras. which were much cuter and lighter than these :(

I had high hopes for these Chaco sandals, but unfortunately, they fell short of expectations. First off, the sizing runs way too large, making them feel clunky and cumbersome on my feet. It's like wearing boats instead of sandals. Adding to the discomfort is the awkward placement of the buckle. It digs into the skin, causing irritation and making it impossible to wear them for an extended period. Not only are they uncomfortable, but the placement of the buckle also affects the overall look, making them less attractive than expected. While I appreciate the brand's reputation for durability and support, the fit and design of these sandals miss the mark entirely. If you're considering purchasing these, I'd recommend trying them on in-store first to ensure the sizing and buckle placement work for you. Otherwise, you might end up disappointed like I was. Additionally, it's worth noting that the return policy is not as generous as I had hoped. If the issue isn't the fault of the seller, you may not be eligible for a full refund, which adds to the frustration of an already disappointing purchase experience. Proceed with caution and be sure to understand the return policy before making your purchase.
