Great filter. You can feel a difference in the water. My hair and skin are healthier since I started using it. Only thing id say is that depending on your water you may have to change it every 3 months instead of every 6 months which can get pricey but its worth it. I would recommend.

What made me support and keep using this product is that they are genuinely certified by NSF/ANSI so you can trust its effectiveness but also for the price, you cant really go wrong. Getting a product that is certified is what really matters when it comes to health that you know it has been tested if it actually works. Highly recommend WaterChef!

WaterChef® RCSF-7 Shower Filter Replacement Cartridges, 2-PACK (for SF-7C Shower Systems) This has made a huge difference in the texture of my skin and hair. I paired this with another type of filter and have a total of two filters on my shower. My hair is blonde and absorbs many colors of the minerals in our water. Since I've started using this product my color lasts longer my hair isn't as dry and brittle my skin doesn't look chalky from the mineral deposits, my shampoo goes further, I don't need as much conditioner, and the shower is easier to clean. Installation was a breeze, it took about 20 mins total, I'm a 42 year old single female with limited construction capabilities. The only suggestion about installing this (I also bought the Waterchef hand held shower) purchase is get a good wrench. You need one with some kind of rubber grip on the teeth, I had a slight difficulty tightening it because my wrench kept slipping. I used my joint tape for the threading to get my wrench not to slip during the process. After the initial installation of the unit, easy peasy filter changing, simply unscrew swap the filter and the magical filtering happens relatively immediately. First the carbon needs to get flushed from the filter prior to actual use. Now, I also have a brand name water filter for my kitchen, specifically for drinking. This came with a digital water tester to measures parts per million water quality. I used that water tester with the shower filter and there wasn't any difference between the unfiltered tap water and the newly filtered tap water. Hang on this gets good. Remember I'm using two filters, and still getting almost the same reading when testing regular tap water and the newly filtered water. Keeping all that in mind I still say that this is an excellent product. I do not understand the science or why the test results were the same, but I can feel the difference. I did not get this product for a free review. I felt this was worth mentioning because before I bought it I read reviews about buyers who tested the filtered water and complained based on the reading that the product wasn't quality. I have TWO filters and the reading still is the same as the tap. I don't know if it's meant for drinking, as far as showering goes it's good.

My house is in the country and the water is so hard. This WaterChef filter cartridge helps my shower is so clean. Would recommend it.

Smell of chlorine completely gone when using this filter. Much easier on my irritated scalp and sensitive skin.
