Thymic Protein A Powder Packets (4 McG TPA) – Immune System Support Supplement - All Natural, Non-GMO Formula - 30 Packets

Seems to strengthen my immune system- especially early-on in any illness

Once a year, my mom usually comes down with the flu for two to three weeks. Unfortunately, she cannot get a yearly flu shot because of a previous severe allergic reaction to the vaccine. My mom is seventy-one and very healthy except for suffering from asthma even when she is well. As a result, the flu tends to infect her lungs with pleurisy, pneumonia, etc. At this point, she always has to take an antibiotic (500mg of Amoxicillin), which is poor for her both her digestive and immune system by killing all beneficial and bad bacteria. Sometimes, she can avoid taking a harmful antibiotic by immediately taking an Echinacea with goldenseal tincture, elderberry supplement and/or elderberry cough syrup, Boiron’s Coldcalm or Emergen-C when she first comes down with the flu. However, none of the above kept the flu from infecting her lungs this time. After two solid weeks of having the flu, she could not sleep for the severity of her coughing and wheezing and even the humidifier/vaporizer next to her bed did not help her breathe. Our family’s doctor was on vacation, so we would have to go to a walk-in clinic or the ER for help. I told my friend about my mom’s frightening illness and asked her to pray for my mom’s recovery. She generously gave me her box of Proboost Thymic Protein A with the instructions to dissolve one packet under the tongue three times a day for three days and then one packet per day for seven more days. At first, I worried that ProBoost may give my mom asthma because she reacts to certain medications. Thankfully, I decided to take a chance and gave my mom ProBoost as instructed and her lungs started improving within twenty-four hours with no asthma side effects. Within three days, she was breathing normally (no wheezing) and she was almost over the flu/infection within seven days of taking the first packet. Thank God, my kind friend, and ProBoost for healing my mom’s illness. It’s good to know that ProBoost is effective at healing an illness/infection that someone has had for a long period of time, and it does not only have to be taken at the onset of symptoms to be helpful (although taking it at the first onset of symptoms would be best). She completely healed from the flu and lung infection without taking antibiotics, and now I always keep a full box of ProBoost in our house.

Your body will tell you how much to take - it takes time to balance out a supplement regime and detoxing. Be patient as it can take months but thats ok, it took months/years to get depleted and it takes time to restore the engine but it will restore. Don't give up! Thank you Proboost and Tiger Health!

Working on increasing my white blood cell count.

This is my first time buying this product in the envelope versus the box, and there is a very strong chemical smell coming from the envelope +/- the product. Why is that?

This has always been my go-to supplement if I feel any icky coming on. Hard to say without a control group, but I'm petty sure I get over whatever ails me at least 2 days quicker than if I hadn't taken it. Follow the direction, yes it's a little gritty and weird at first but you get used to it. I recommend taking a drink of water before to really wetten under your tongue and just pop your head back and drop it in there. Once you open the packet, fold the opening into a "V" makes it easier to get under the tongue and not all over your teeth. To me there is no flavor/slightly sweet bland flavor. Nothing overpowering at all. I have never had an upset stomach taking this. Will always have this in the medicine cabinet!

I was really hoping it would help my immune system. Not sure if it did, but it gave me major itching after taking it.

Late one evening, I tried this product as advised (dissolved under tongue before swallowing). I was told it could help down-regulate autoimmune/allergy issues while at the same time boosting immunity against viruses. Within 5 minutes of swallowing the dissolved packet, I experienced a painful tingling/prickling sensation all over my skin (particularly the top thin skin of my hands and arms). The next day I woke up with severe joint pain in my knees and lower back which cannot be attributed to anything else but the introduction of this supplement. I am not sure this supplement is any good at all for auto-immunity/allergy issues although in two alternative medicine books it comes up as a recommendation for these conditions. Whether I am allergic to "thymic protein a" or the maltodextrin sweetener is unknown, but either way I wouldn't be able to take this supplement. It would be nice if the company made a pure supplement with no additives that could cause these reactions, or if not then just using simple white sugar would be better than these exotic sweeteners that some people are very allergic to. I may try one more packet and if I get the same reaction I will try to return this supplement as it is very expensive.

Recommended to include this into Kitty's treatment plan of FIP. He had 2 relapses so hopefully this will help this time round.
