My daughter got my mom a set of these so she wouldn't have to get up to turn her lights on and off. She is in her 80s. These come with 2 remote controls so she has one at her bedside and the other by her recliner. Not only are they bright enough but can be dimmed 2 levels for the perfect amount of light for when she works her puzzles or dimmed for television watching. The other colors also are dimmable. I use one of these in our back porch light, which faces the neighbors' houses. I like that these bulbs have 3 different brightness settings so I can leave it on all night on the dimmest setting which seems similar to moonlight, and it doesn't bother the neighbors. But if/when I need more light I just press the button and I have it.

These are great! There are two remotes provided for each light bulb but the remote still works for both. It's nice you can change the brightness on each color. I definitely recommend these!

The remotes are a little iffy sometimes but they are still good.
