Brake lights staying on after engine off

My 2001 Silverado's brake light started staying on after I turned the engine off. Had to fiddle with the brake to get it to turn off but most of the time it kept staying on this product solved the problem. I guess the switch went bad. Very easy to install five stars

Finally!!!

Finally fixed my break light issue and shifter not moving when break is pressed. Tried three different times buying this part at AutoZone and never fixed it. Bought this for half the price and it worked amazingly. I’m so happy to have that problem fixed so I can pass inspection now lol.
