We received this today and my 2 year old is already a huge fan. Assembly was quick and everything worked out of the box. Super easy for a kid to operate and not too fast to follow. One thing I saw mentioned in the reviews is that it had a stiff pedal. I noticed it too as my son could barely press it. If you squeeze the base of the pedal you can remove it from the slots and tilt it forward to take off. There is a spring held in by a screw. You can cut off a few coils to shorten the spring to make it very easy for even the smallest kids to press.

This mini tractor is exactly what we were looking for! We have the larger, full size model for our older kid but it was a little too much for our 2 year old to handle. This mini tractor is perfect for her to practice turning. It is simple push petal to go, no shifting. I do wish it had a reverse, but it’s light enough our toddler can get off and move it if she bumps into something. It does pop wheelies when fully charged, so make sure to put the little anti tip guard on the back. This mini tractor has a great battery life, have to charge about once a week. We got it on sale, so it was the perfect price! It’s a great gift for our 2 year old!

This 6V tractor is a beast. My kids have put it through the works over the last several months since we got it. The battery last forever. They drive it daily and I charge it every couple weeks. It hands the grass on flat land great. Overall very impressed with it.

Easy to put together, my 2 year old has a blast on this tractor. The battery seems to last a very long time, I got this in September and as of December 6 I have only charged it twice! We have it indoors so im not sure how it does outside. The value to money ratio is a steal. We got this on sale and it was worth every penny and then some. The power is wonderful, my son has even driven over many toys and it has not gotten stuck.

My child genuinely believes he's a farmer now. But damn, is this thing loud! Add its noise on top of the already loud noise the kids make, and you'll find yourself staring at this tractor thinking, god... I want a farm. For real. A nice, peaceful, secluded farm. Riding my own tractor in total peace... where was I? Sorry, got distracted. The battery isn't powerful, but it does the job and lasts a crazy long time. We've gone weeks without charging, though the kids use it sparingly. My 7-year-old is above the weight limit, but the tractor has no problem chugging him along anyway. The price is reasonable. Setup was a bit annoying, probably because John Deere doesn't like people working on their tractors, so I'd caution anyone who isn't great with assembly. And also anyone allergic to loud noises. Because yes, apart from the motor being loud, this tractor has a sound box that is hella loud. So, 4 stars. It's a blast, the kids love it, the battery goes the distance, and it's priced right. The only things keeping it from a 5 are the volume and the fiddly setup. Just go in knowing your house is about to get a lot noisier.

Bought this for my 14 month old grandson. It definitely was worth all the smiles and giggles! He loves riding this. It is the perfect size for 1 year to 2 years. My 3 year old grandson is too tall for this ride

The best birthday present for a 1 year old. Battery seems to hold well and has more power than I expected. The pedal is a little stiff making it hard for a 1 year old but that’s probably a good thing

This tiny tractor is a great introduction to the motorized ride on toys. It was a bit tricky to put together but easy enough for one person in one evening. The downsides to this is my little isn't tall enough yet to work himself but he's just 1 and the age reccomend 1.5 years old. The sounds and lights are a nice added feature. I do wish it had a reverse function as steering is something that will come with practice. The plug in for this is under the seat which isn't practical, we opted not to put the seat screw in as it would need to be removed every time it needed to be charged. There also isn't an sealing on the underside so its definitely not something that can be stored outside or used in any wet conditions.
