Quality Feel to the Wax
The media could not be loaded. I love the quality feel and easy application of this gilding wax. It is a true gold color and not 'brassy' like many other 'gold' gilding wax. The application is smooth, true to color and dries thoroughly. I will buy more of this when needed. I have other projects to try this on. I've tried two other products and by far this is my favourite!I do feel the price could be better adjusted.

Silver Metallic Gilding Wax
This wax was just the right consistency. Nice and creamy, easy to apply. Good coverage. Good price. Great color.

It looks amazing.
I painted my sons dresser and all the drawer pulls a matte black. After is was dry I used this on the pulls to give an antique look. They turned out beautiful. When I was done I realized the jar was still full. A little tiny bit goes a long way.

Wowza….took my ceiling fan and jewelry box refurb from nice to stunning.
Used this product on several chalk-painted refurb projects.Purchased an older house in long established neighborhood a year ago and found a lot of my old “farmhouse” decor didn’t exactly fit the much more formal style of the home. So far, I’ve been able to reuse almost everything by either adding moldings, using chalk paint and/or decoupage paper. The Old Silver Wax is just the icing on the cake. Takes my projects from pretty to WOWZA. And for a little bonus perk, is smells like vanilla….REALLY great vanilla.

Works great for rusty nickel blades
After reading a review of someone using this on a rusty medicine cabinet (can't imagine that lasting more than a few weeks) I decided to try it on some antique nickel plated swords and bayonets with random ugly black rust spots or rusty "peppering" as they sometimes get. Although a natural untouched patina is always preferred, some of these 100 yr old dress swords and bayos look bright and immaculate except for a few black rust spots which stand out from across the room. Proper method of removal is not applicable to antiques so I found this product provides a very easy non permanent cover up without affecting original finishes. If you change your mind and want to remove it just keep rubbing it with a towel. Some rust spots take better than others but on the ones that worked I'm pleased by the results. Ironically the product smells like makeup, and it does work great as a concealer. It doesn't completely hide anything just changes it from brown/black to dull silver, which makes it appear like worn plating and blend in aesthetically instead of drawing attention to blemishes. I've tried it on heavy pitting where it actually fills the tiny holes but I'm not sure how I like it yet.On plated finishes with rusty "pepper" all over, I use a tiny bit on my finger and rub it all over then immediately buff off the excess with a soft rag. It won't adhere to plating, just the rough surfaces.I tried this product in "old silver" as well as the competition rubnbuff metallic silver and I like this color better for my projects, the other is lighter and brighter closer to silver plate, whereas worn nickel plating usually is darker so this product yielded more realistic looking results.Highly recommended for anyone who collects and displays antique blades. One tiny tube should last a lifetime of touch ups.

Good Alternative to Rub n buff
Bought this because I'm impatient. Couldn't find rub n buff anywhere local and amazon had extended shipping times for it. I found this with fast shipping and went for it. I wanted it to add some flair to my 3d prints and it worked out great. Definitely recommend to everybody who is looking for something like this. Just remember a little bit goes a long way. I used a small cheap sponge brush from the dollar store to apply it.

Less expensive alternative performs great
Just as good as that other brand of metallic wax, but nearly half the price. The Old Silver color looks like old silver and not old pewter, which was a surprise.Would definitely choose this again over the major brand.

Beautiful highlights!
I love all the Prima waxes. I have numerous Colors, love them all. They glide on easy, rich, gorgeous metallic highlights. And dry permanent. Perfect for my mixed media projects.

Strong vanilla odor, and poor adhesion to 3d printing
It took three coats of silver on top of silk emerald green PLA for it to look okay. I've never tried the rub-n-buff, and I thought this would be similar. I also used Bronze age on the bottom of the lightsaber print. This product works.. but I can't give it 5 stars without comparing to rub-n-buff.
