Love this! I was not sure about the color but I thought I would take a chance. I wanted something different. Really happy with the design and the colors. I hope it holds up after being washed several times. It is somewhat short on the sides but I made it work. Great buy! Thank you Amazon!

When I was in my 20s (a decade or theee ago), Laura Ashley bedding was the pinnacle of what all my friends and I wanted. I was looking for a dark, floral comforter that didn’t look cheap. Laura Ashley still makes lovely bedding. The weight of the comforter is good - not flimsy and not too heavy. The fabric is a little stiff right out of the bag but I feel sure with use it will soften. The background is a lovely royal navy. I also like the shirting stripe accent pattern on the reverse side of the shams, the reverse of the comforter, on the Euro shams and one of the decorative pillow shams.Note: you may need to buy a bed skirt depending on your bed and your preference. You will also need two 24x24 Euro pillow forms, a 12x20 pillow form and a 12x16 pillow form for the decorative shams.

This comforter surprised me, it's a good size (for a king) and looks stunning as a layering piece. It does require A LOT of fluffing and separation of the batting though (because it comes super vacuum sealed). If you expect it to look great out of the package, you'll be disappointed. But after working with it, it's soft and fluffy. The pillow shams are just okay; thin material with flap back closure. No pretty ties or anything fancy. They washed okay and didn't shrink up a ton. Sadly, the coordinating throw pillows are junk. Even after aggressive fluffing, they're wrinkly, lumpy, and flat all at the same time. They're sewn shut so the covers can't be washed (to remove wrinkles) and they can't be re-stuffed—they'll be going in the trash.

Really pretty. Wish comforter were a little less fluffy, but hoping that will happen over time. I washed the set first. No fading/shrinking at all. Really nice for the price.

I am so disappointed. I originally purchased this in Queen size and absolutely loved it! I decide to order a second one (the queen size wasn't quite as wide as I wanted) so I ordered another one in King size. Everything was different. It came rolled up in a generic looking package with some type of "environmentally friendly" statement. It was NOT the same quality comforter. It felt stiff and had a chemical odor. I tried letting it air out, I tried drying it in a dryer with fabric softener sheets to no avail.I've only slept with it a few times because it is used in a guest room, but when I have, I notice the harsh chemical feel is still present.In hopes of removing it, I laundered this yesterday in an oversized washing machine (twice), dried it, crossed my fingers only to be disappointed again. It still felt the same ...stiff and made with poor quality material.I decided to try it on the bed one more time, and heard a ripping sound as I was trying to smooth out the comforter. The fabric gave way and ripped without reason.I'm removing it from the bed and replacing it with the queen size that I originally purchased.Again, so disappointed...so frustrated. Love the original one I purchased, absolutely hate this one.

SIZE UPI have a queen but saw a lot of people recommended sizing up to a king and I DO NOT regret it. I love that this set comes with so many pillows. Honestly such a great dupe to the pottery barn set and comes with way more pieces I am VERY honest when it comes to reviews and I’m so glad I bought this bed set. I just stuffed the big gray throw pillows with some throw blankets I had stuffed away in a bin. You don’t have to spend hundreds on a bed set. Just be carful if opening with a knife there is nothing there to protect the comforter. I did like that it was vacuum sealed! Bc the amazon box got pretty beat up. Now all that’s missing it getting a picture of some sort up on my wall.
