Works!
Bought to replace the gasket in my Presto Electric canner. Fits perfect and stopped the release of small amount of steam that was leaking during processing.

Change ALL The Rubber Gaskets
I have an old Power Pressure Cooker XL, Model #: PPC790. I bought extra rubber gaskets in the beginning but used those and now they are discontinued from the manufacturer. So then I started buying rubber gaskets from Amazon. To my horror, they did not make a seal. In my desperation, I found this one with many good reviews claiming they were larger and thicker. So I bought one; nope, didn’t seal. But... in a last attempt to figure this out, I decided to change every rubber seal on my pressure cooker; it could hurt and I had one package left of all the tiny rubber seals along with a new floater that I purchased a year ago. This also included a seal for the inner lid that attaches to the outer lid. I added water to my pressure cooker, closed her up, and turned her on. Like new! Got a perfect seal. This makes sense! In actuality, I think it was the floater valve seal that was not holding pressure. It will only cost you $7.99 to try.

This gasket is not snug enough for the 10 quart Power Pressure Cooker XL
This gasket did not fit the 10 quart Power Pressure Ccoker XL. My machine is still leaking steam and it will not pressurize. There is steam escaping from the lid perimeter and handle. I was hoping this purchase would fix the issue I was having.Update! This ring does work! It turns out the floating pin that is located within the black handle within the lid was the problem! Please call the parts department of Power Pressure Cooker XL and let them help you. The very patient man walked me through it over the phone after I told him that my machine was not pressurizing and steam was escaping from all over the lid. It turns out the little silicone gasket that holds the floating pin in proper position was not put back together properly after I had taken it apart for cleaning. My 10 quart Power Pressure Cooker XL works like a charm again! Yay!

It fits
The one that came with my power excel pressure cooker wore out and I need a new one. I was apprehensive about it being generic because I didn't know if it would fit right. Well as soon as it arrived I tried it and was pleasantly surprised it worked perfectly.

Any help
Gasket looks good, but when I tried to use the pressure cooker it won’t hold a seal. All the trouble shooting comments say to change out rubber gasket. So when you do that what else could it be.

Fits better than the original gasket that came with the unit.
NIce gasket. I haven't cooked with it in my PPXL 10 qt. cooker yet, but I can already see that the gasket fits the inner cover better than the one that came with the unit. I had been having problems with the original gasket not sealing properly and I would have to start over 4-5 times before getting the "Right Seal." It would leak and leak and leak. Hopefully, this will work better. I'm anxious to try it!Quick delivery!! A++++
