During a move we lost our remote for our awning and this was the perfect compatible replacement. It worked flawlessly out of the box and was easy to connect and the price was right.

Unplugged shade from power for a bit, and then set up goes quite readily and easy.

If you're remote that came with your SunSetter Awning no longer works or is lost you can reprogram this remote. Make sure that you have an RTS remote control. My SunSetter awning is approximately 5 years old so there's no reset button on the motor. Turn off or unplug the awning for 2 seconds turn it back on for 5 seconds turn it off again for 2 seconds then turn it back on. The awning will jog out and stay. Press the program button on the back of the remote control and hold it in until the awning jogs again. The remote will now work. When doing the seconds counting by a thousand works perfect.

Our remote for our patio screen broke. The power screen distributer who sold and installed it was no longer in business. After a few searches I found it online. On of the sellers was Amazon. They had it there the next day. It didn't require any pairing or syncing. It has a pretty good range. I can stand in the living room and open and close the screen. Very handy when it's raining. It has been working perfectly for about a year. I am very satisfied and highly recommend it.

Very confusing instructions. Unable to understand instructions if there were any. Three separate sheets of paper in the box, mostly disclaimers about ingesting the lithium battery or swallowing small parts. Information provided was in 23 different languages. I couldn't get past the English version. I cannot believe this is the best they can do. Don't they have someone competent who can make the instructions somewhat clear?

I conducted extensive research to make certain this device would work with my awning system. It DOES! Admirably! With the old remote I could not So the motor part way. This one has a Stop button and compatible with my (This is the past that needs the update later). Great unit, least expensive option, and is an Upgrade to what I had. Extremely happy customer!

Fully compatible with any RTS rf frequency. Important to first understand how to first put your shade/awning motor into default/reset mode in order to pair new remote. I have a Sonesse 50 from 2006. This required a power on/off sequence of the motor to have the motor jog to signify readiness to accept the Program button signal from the remote.

Works perfect - must do your research before ordering to make sure it is the right remote for your model. Compatible for the right motor
