Exactly what we expected
These arrived in great condition. My son just did not love the way they felt. No fault of the product, he has sensory issues. We kept them anyway because I’m sure they will be used by another family member.

I won't be buying again. Foam is not good.
Purchased for bursitis elbow, after surgery no padding from your own body, so you have to wear something.I gave it 5 stars for the LIGHTWEIGHT question ONLY, every other rating was a 3 . It is made of the lightweight foam that is not able to stay as foam. It immediately became nearly flat after an hour or two. I had to take the foam from the 2nd one and double the foam. The cost, at 1st look is good because you are getting 2 items, but you have to make 2 into 1. I may try some memory foam on the empty one and see how it works. Even with 2 layers of the mfgs foam, it lasts a few hours, longer if you layer folded shirts over the elbow. This is a 3 star, being generous because the external material and construction is good. As with past reviews, they run small. I weight 125 or so and the medium was tight for the 1st couple of hours. I believe a large would have stretched too much.I will not buy these again unless they change the foam. Amazon carries another brand that is great. But as the saying goes, you get what you pay for.

my family uses these every day
Good quality product but the sizing can be different than expected. I'm a small framed lady, 5'2'' around 95-105pounds, and I actually wear a Large. My daughter is a tall, lean-limbed 6year old and she wears a size small small(she broke her arm this last summer and lost some tissue around her elbow in surgery, so the pad protects her elbow from over-sensitivity and helps protect her atrophic/keloid scar from light and air which is supposed to help reduce the scar's growth). However the last size small I bought for her, was bigger than the size small that I'd gotten prior. They will shrink over time with washing and drying. I've learned to wash mine in a wash-bag to protect them from any damage that can be caused in the washing machine. The size of the medium elbow pad is very close between the yellow (small) and large (white) elbow pads.If you're bigger than me I would recommend getting nothing less than a large.

We use as toddler knee pads.
We use these as toddler knee pads for my son that has a bleeding disorder. He wore this size from about 5 months to 1.5 years old. They stay on without constantly sliding down and they don't catch on carpet like some other knee pads with rubber gripping. On that same note my little one has no problem maneuvering around on wood floors with these on.They do pill with washing, but they do not shrink or loose there shape, as long as you turn them inside out when drying. They also loose there elasticity over time. My little one has several pairs and we generally wear them 1 or 2 days before washing. So I would guess they only last about 6 months before the elastic is virtually gone and we throw them out.I wish that there was multiple color options for each size.

Does the job
I had some of these pads that a doctor had supplied years ago. I liked them a lot, the thick pads protect my sore elbows very nicely, is dense and has held up. Thing is they looked awful. Little balls all over the blue jersey, and a grey look that wouldn't come out in the wash. I looked online and found some on Amazon. The shipping was fast and I was oh so happy, at first. After wearing for a week in September then again in October, I couldn't tell my brand new elbow pads from the old and I hadn't even washed them as of yet! Just the normal rubbing of elbows against furniture or throwing a jacket on had them looking just as bad as my old ones. They do do the job very well, but are nothing you would want to wear out of the house or even in the house, if company comes. They get a dirty, beat up look about them very quickly

Lifesaver after a significant elbow injury!
I injured my elbow pretty badly, literally hours before leaving for an international trip. I survived with the typical elastic/neoprene types (taking on/off was painful though). Towards the end of the trip, a fellow traveler told me about these. I was on my phone ordering and they were waiting for me when I got home! Kept the elbow warm, easy on/off but not too snug. Most of all they protected my elbow from the (seemingly more!) bumps from daily living! I wore mine for about 4 months. They pill over time, but are washable. A bit bulky under a snug shirt/blouse, but I just adjusted what I was wearing! Didn't want to be without my Heelbo!

Run small
Run small so get the larger size. I wear small medium shirts and do not have large arms but thee are incredibly tight.

Made a big difference
After surgery on her elbow, my daughter used this product for over 9 months before it began to wear out. It was a lifesaver and is the only thing that seems to bring her any relief from the continuing pain. Her only criticism is the color. The items are sized by color and if used for its original purpose, most likely it would or could be covered by a sock. Hard to cover the elbow in the summertime with long sleeves and the color just doesn't coordinate with everything. Other than that, I highly recommend it to family and friends. My aunt has requested I order one for her.

don’t goe by the size chart, order at least 2 sizes bigger
I ordered this product based on the size chart. They were way too small and cut off the circulation to my arms. They made my condition worse not better.
