UmbraCappa Curtain Rod – 1-1/4-Inch Drapery Rod Extends from 72 to 144 Inches, Includes 2 Matching Finials, Brackets & Hardware, Nickel

This has been a good purchase for my modern designed living room and bedroom. I wanted something sturdy, in a brushed finish, that also didn’t have ornate finials on the ends and this fit the bill. No complaints at all.

I bought this curtain rod because of the look I wanted in the room. The rod is 1-1/4 " around not the standard 1" which makes the rod much more sturdy. I hung heavy blackout curtains from it and have no sagging. One other thing about the rod, because it is 1-1/4" around, the curtains stay in place. Definitely a good buy.

We needed an 1-1/4” rod to fit the seperate hanger racks we bought. This fit our need perfectly!

The brushed nickel looks amazing and the quality of the curtain rod is super nice.I'll replace the drapes several times in the future - but I'm keeping and loving the curtain rod!Someone else said they saw the exact one in a high end store and I believe it!

There is no 72” here. Without using both large sections, you’ll either have a discount store looking curtain rod that save or needs a center support, or being that it’s in sections, your actual smallest sizes are 54” with one section, or 108” to 144” with both sections. I have 72” windows and don’t particularly care for one half being thinner than the other… it’s seriously looks janky - like something you’d have in your first apartment, not in a nice home. You would think that the “short” length listed would be the rod without an extension, but that just isn’t the case.Fortunately, a couple of hours and a mitre saw salvaged them, but I’m not happy at all that it took that.

I’m not giving this a five-star rating for one reason only - the hooks to install the rod are hoops, not hooks that are open on top (where you can then simply lower the rod in). That means your measurements must be spot on and it is less forgiving to slide the rod in when measurements are even just a little bit of a difference. Not a terribly big deal, but I didn’t realize that at ordering, so you need to be aware that you require space to slide the rod in (enough to slide back and forth) when the hoops are up.The finished look with the curtain on is beautiful though. The rod has a wonderful and contemporary look. I’m happy I purchased it, just found it more annoying to install than others I purchased.

I love the style of these brackets. The fact that the hardware covers the screws offers a clean, sleek look. They look very modern and high end. However, with a bracket that stretches over to 144 inches, it needs more than just one middle support bracket. I reached out to the company via email to request additional brackets with no response which was very disappointing. I bought two sets of these brackets for my living/dining room. I am please so far but I hesitate to hang the sheers on the second rod due to the weight and lack of support brackets.I want to update my review. After the above was posted, I did get a response from the seller. They promised to mail two additional brackets to support the curtain rod and I received them yesterday. I'm anxious to get this project completed. Thank you to the seller for listening to my request.

Nice simple curtain rod. I love that the ends are a simple classic design. They were also easy to install and look great in my living room.

I have 5 sets of these in my house with the latest two being from Amazon. These dual rods allow for the installation of two sets of curtains to your liking. I use a mesh curtain on the outside smaller rod and regular curtains on the larger diameter inside rod. Installation is a breeze. Note that each rod is three pieces - left, right and centre with the centre rod being slightly smaller such that the left and right pieces slide over it to give an adjustable length. Note that this applies to the 72-144" models.If you are measuring from the floor (or ceiling), I would recommend to adjust for the different diameter centre piece otherwise the rod can look slightly crooked. In other words, the centre support needs to be a tiny bit higher than the left or right supports.In all my installations, only one uses all three sections and therein lies a problem. There is a ridge created between the larger diameter left and right rods as you transition to the centre piece. There is a plastic conical fillet that tries to smooth this transition, however when opening the curtains (also bought from Amazon), the eyelets get stuck. The only way to open them is to reach up and lift the eyelets over the ridge. Luckily enough for me, I am tall, but not so handy for the other members of the household. Closing the curtains is not a problem.

Very lovely. I've purchased several of these nickel rods. I love the color. The fact that they are tick gives them a beautiful design. However, they should watch the quality control a little more. I had one with imperfection that really annoyed me. I've replaced it, but that's Amazon amazing service. Would recommend for the results.

Loved this rod. Fit perfectly to my space. Purchased two of them. Good quality, until one of the three sections of rods seemingly began to be damaged by the curtain rings. See picture. I assumed it was the rings of the curtain that has damaging the finish of the rod. But I noticed that the one curtain panel slides across two of the three sections of rod and the damage is only on one rod. Thus it reveals that one of the three rods is defective.This is what my experience resulted in. No longer returnable. I believe we have a 60 day return window.Over all we are still happy with the product. Just a warning that something similar could happen to you.Looked into but can't contact the seller. :(
