Best...book...ever!
i just LOVE Tesla, and this book does not disappoint! It might be hard to read for those whose diction doesn't match that of our late, great nikola, but it's well worth the effort, for sure. It's hard to believe he first published this 122 years ago, because it is even more relevant (and needed) now, than then. It's a shame they don't teach kids much, if anything, about him in public school. i'm in my 60's and had no idea who he was in 2012, when i first heard his name. i began researching him then, and am still fascinated by his brilliant mind. i only wish i could've met him, interviewed him and picked that magnificent mind of his. ❤

N. Tesla’s Remarkable Electronics Insight - 120-years ago
A fascinating glimpse of N. Tesla’s insights into the possibilities of advanced technologies in electronics. Although he scientifically postulated the details incorrectly, he grasp of the possibilities over 120-years ago, his conceptions were remarkable!I read several reviews that claimed it to be a ‘bad read, or too scientifically ’dense’, I submit that the ‘dense ness’ is more an indication of either our limited science educational system, or the individual’s lack of scientific curiosity.

A must read for any futurist, philanthropist, or anyone interested in sustainable energy.
Tesla poignantly describes the forces retarding the fundamental issues of our times in this brilliant, yet concise, analysis. He breaks human advancement into mathematical terms and identifies what he believes to be the chief humanitarian issues hindering progress of humans as a species. From ignorance, to clean water, restoring nutrition to our food, and sustainable energy production, Tesla describes fundamental concerns that are as true now as they were a century ago. *(With given exception of his approach to coal, as this was one notable limitation of the advancements in his day.)A must read for any futurist or philanthropist intested in the success of humanity in the 21st century.

No Pictures of oscillators shown in article reprint
4 out of the 7 or so photos are featured in this book. The initial simple graphic displaying the “fundamental” solutions to the problem are here. However no reprint of the oscillators and they effect on the ether are here, unfortunately . And sadly I cannot unsee them from my mind while reading the text, feels odd

Fascinating
Nikola Tesla describes the different methods possible for meeting the rising energy demands of the human population. He considers such energy sources as coal, wind, the ambient heat anywhere, hydro/water, solar, possibility one day to use gravity, magnetism etc. He made a clear point that we would have to make use of energy that does not deplete I.e coal, as that would inevitably be unsustainable for future generations. And he ends with a humble thought that although he described all these amazing inventions and ideas, that he has only provided some ideas and a bit of groundwork for future generations to continue to solve these problems that we will face.He also gives advice to be a vegetarian. And cautions against the barbarous killing of animals. He talks about how a crystal has life, and lots of other fascinating thoughts. He tells several interesting stories about some of his inventions. There was this one invention he made as a teen that allowed him to capture these birds very easily. He lured them in and captured them and separated them from their pack. He continues on about how they took the bird home and found thousands of birds a short while later outside their home ready to fight for their fellow mate back. That story really made me think that animals are really in fact the same as us. They cooperate and defend their weak as we do.Very fascinating read. Highly recommended.
