RunningSnail USB Reading Lamp, Flexible Mini LED Light with Touch Switch for Laptop, Desktop, Power Bank, 2 Pack (Black)

I got two of these. Thinking I would plug in one on both sides to solve my lack of a lit keyboard issue. Not so much. First, one is brighter than the other. Second, they are not nearly long enough to use practically. They look neat as long as your hands aren’t there actually typing. If you do actually type, then there are shadows. I type all day and don’t need to look directly at the keyboard to do so accurately, with the exception of a glance or two. Generally I use my peripheral view to catch the portion of the keyboard I need to use. But aiming the lights to accomplish this is tough. Either I get shadows, or glare from my screen. They aren’t what I thought they would be. Maybe they will work well for others, just not what I thought is all.

I like the light but there are just a few things I wish it could have had... a dimmer light or dimmer setting, which I knew it only had the one setting - just would've been a nice option since the light is bright and might disturb someone sleeping nearby. The other issue I have is that it gets HOT... Like, a little too hot to the touch. So, I end up turning it off to give it a break. Ultimately it is perfect for what I need and the price.

We plug these in to small rechargeable battery packs we got at 5 Below (a $5 and under store) for reading at night. It allows us to climb in bed and still read with the overhead lights out - after all, once the cats get comfy it'd disturb them if we had to get back out of bed to turn OFF the over head lights! Seriously, these work well. I even insert them into the rear USB ports on my computers when I climb under my desk to "play with cables".

Works great plugged into my laptop or a power bank. Only issue I have is that it get very hot on top. Too hot to touch if I leave it on too long. Definitely wouldn't use it as a night light.

Broke coming out of the package. The second one works super well. Impressed with how well the touch works. I probably just got bad luck on it breaking. Worth the buy if you need a light plugged into a usb port.

The switch does work but it's very light to the touch, so if you graze it, it will turn off or on. Also, when i leave it on, it auto shuts off after like 1 minute. Tried it in various computers, and even a car charger, same thing. I just wish it would click on and stay on until I decide to turn it off

I work inside portable planetariums and out under the stars, so I needed a small light that my laptop could power. These little lights fill that need perfectly and bend around to put light where I need it. The lights have no problem travelling in my cramped messenger bag with pens, adapters, and cables in the same pocket, yet they work every time. I would recommend these to others!

These are short (~6 inches), so the bend is short for the flex, but it's what I wanted to light a tight area (or at least experiment with). The touch-on (defaults to off on insert/energize) is easy; draws 150ma in the only "On" once-touched setting (touch on, touch off).3 LEDs. 3-pack came in a bubble envelope; one of the diffusers popped off, easily re-inserted, may have to Crazy-Glue as another reviewer mentioned. No complaints yet.
