Bummer to find out Almay was bought and owned by Revlon who is not cruelty free. Have used Almay for years. So will now look for alternative Vegan cruelty free source for mascara and other makeup. Also recently used Clean by Cover Girl but my eyes were becoming irritated. Note had used Almay waterproof mascara in the past — just read waterproof mascaras can contribute to dry eye.

This is the one and only mascara that does not irritate my eyes. I've been using it for years and I hope they never stop making it. Hard to find except on Amazon and the price is right too. It's the best.

This is one of the best mascaras I have tried. I love the non-irritating formula; good for contact lens wearers and sensitive eyes. It is not flaky or overly cakey either, just beautiful color and lash separation. The wand is slightly curved for easy application, but some still gets smudged on my top eyelid.

I have used this Almay mascara for years, and it is the best! No clumping or flaking, and it is hypoallergenic too. Try it, you'll be pleased.

I like this mascara ok, but I don't think it is anything special and there are a couple of problems. First, ANY kind of sweat causes this to bleed a little into your eyes and the product causes a burning sensation. Second, the product dries out and clumps up after approx. 2 weeks of use (tried 2 different times with new packages and the same thing happened), which is WAY short of any mascara usage I have ever encountered. The look for the 2 weeks the bottle worked was fine though and the color was as expected. I have moved on to another brand though.

Have used Almay mascara for many years; am always sorry to see my favorite kind discontinued, like Intense Eye Color and now Multi-Benefit. Hope whatever the 'new-and-improved' offering is, it will be just as good.

Price, look of the mascara and the fact that it is hypoallergenic!

I have very sensitive skin and eyes and often struggle to find cosmetics that don't break my skin/eyes out. Finally I have success with this mascara, no reaction to it at all and I am delighted. It looks natural and is easy to apply.

Goes on evenly without clumping and easy to wash off! Love it!

This is a brilliant hypoallergenic mascara for those of us with sensitive eyes. I used it for years, always able to purchase from Boots. Then..... nothing. Gone from the shelves. I tried to find an alternative and am now about to try Clinique. Which is also supposed to be hypoallergenic.Meanwhile, I have discovered that I can order it online but it is coming from USA and delivery will take a while. Honestly, in this day and age I would have thought there would have been a distributor (in the UK) who held supplies.
