I ordered this chair to replace an older one that had rusted and was unsteady. I was a little leery of putting it together, but the company is right: it is easily assembled. Instructions on paper will tell you to look for bar 1 or 2. Mine said A and B, which is six of one and half a dozen of the other where this was concerned. It took about 2 to 3 minutes to assemble it and have it sitting waiting in the shower.At that time, it was a just-right size for me, again proved itself sturdy, and was of a just-right height. My old one had a back to it, which this doesn't, but I'm steady enough not to need a place to lean back on.It's a good product, reasonable in price, and I'm glad I picked it.

This was purchased for myself so that I didn’t need assistance in the shower and so my loved ones didn’t have to worry about me falling during showering. This is my second shower chair, the first was longer and extended over the bathtub lip outside of the tub and was a nuisance when others needed to shower. When I moved my new tub and bathroom is much smaller so I set out to find a smaller shower chair without a back. This is the perfect solution! It’s lightweight enough for me to get it in and out of the shower myself so it’s not in the way of others when they need to shower, it has rubber feet to ensure it doesn’t slide out from under you when getting on and off, it also has handle cut outs on both sides that you are able to hold onto. I believe it can hold up to 300 lbs which shows how sturdy the little chair is and I prefer that it doesn’t have a back rest because it only would get in the way when washing your backside. The chair was more affordable than your local Walmart nevertheless a big drug store chain or durable medical supply store. The chair is well made and will last many years. This shower chair also has adjustable legs offering several different heights and can also be used to accommodate those who need to use the shower chair method to get up and down their stairs while recovering. Definitely would recommend this shower chair. No need to look further unless you want one with a back or it must extend over your tub. Would recommend to family/friends.
