These worked perfectly in my Whirlpool over the stove microwave #W108355881A. And saved me beaucoup bucks! I made the same mistake as many in this thread; I replaced the underneath light bulb without first unplugging the unit (a stupid design flaw?). It blew the triac and completely disabled the microwave. I already had a soldering iron, solder and solder removing copper braid and some skills in electronics (although anyone could likely do this) YouTube has a few great videos on how to remove and replace these triacs. The whole process only took about 25 minutes. I highly recommend taking photos of the wiring before unplugging it all to remove the control board so you can easily reconnect them.

Fixed my microwave hood light that wouldn’t turn off. Replaced the hood fan triac while I was at it. Pay attention to the orientation of the triac being removed.

This is the standard replacement parts when the light fails on a Westinghouse microwave. If you have basic desoldering and soldering skills it'll save you big bucks.

Fixed my Whirlpool Microwave oven underside light. The light would not cycle through on, bright, dim, or off. Replaced this part on the oven control board. Easy part to replace and now my light works perfectly. Nice product.

This product corrected my problem. The stove hood light stopped working on my microwave. After looking at the wiring schematic and some research seeing this was a common issue, I ordered this product. I removed the circuit board and found the triac had apparently gotten too hot and the plastic had broken and fallen apart leaving an open circuit. It was an easy repair. Unsolder the old, solder in the new. Problem solved.
