Excellent sound treatment
Let me give you a heads up right now! These are not for sound *proofing* a room. If you want to sound proof a room, you're gonna have to get some more expensive, heavy duty stuff. With that out of the way, if what are you are looking to do is improve the quality of sound you can get in your home theater room, then these are what you're looking for!Do your research, learn about first reflections and which parts of a theater room most need to be treated, and apply these accordingly. I used these in conjunction with several other sound treatment foam products and the quality of my theater room's audio has improved dramatically. Just make sure you understand what you are purchasing AND make sure you follow the directions! Let these things decompress from shipping for 48 hours as instructed before applying AND don't think these things are for soundproofing! If you're looking for soundproofing, these are not the panels you're looking for. But if your home theater just doesn't sound quite as good as you know it should, these are an extremely affordable, effective product.

This was a Great Buy
The Acoustic panels were easy to use, adhesive was a plus for me. Easy to peel on and off, great for my recording room a nice touch and decor. I was able to hear more of what I needed to and less disruptive echos.

Pretty good budget option
These work really well after some initial concern. It took about 36 hours for everything to full expand but once it did, the uniformity was pretty good. Only 1 of the 48 I ordered was slightly dimpled and it was easy to hide in a corner. The size is very consistent though a couple were slightly bigger (like 1/8 inch) but it was easy to mold them to match with a little stretching and scrunching into place. The adhesion is excellent after sitting for awhile. I was a little worried because it was fairly easy to pull up misplaced tiles to reset them but if you really pat them down and let them sit 20 minutes then they’re solidly on. I attached them to a painted plaster wall. I was looking for them to dampen and deaden the sound in an alcove where I record a podcast and some music demos, definitely works for that. I’m not sure how they’d fare with heavier duty needs but I’d be willing to experiment at the price point.

If you care about painted walls, AVOID
They are cheap, thin, and offer no sound dampening. However, that's not even the worst part. I am attempting to remove them from my wall and they leave gunk and residue everywhere that is impossible to get off the wall without solvents and tools that ruin your paint. Do not use this product if you don't want to repaint the walls when you are done.

Perfect for Noisy Neighbors
I am so impressed. I bought a pack and placed them behind pictures, the book cases, on top of cabinets to damper the noise of a heavy-walking neighbor. What used to sound like big booms - now sounds like fluttering heartbeats. I rarely leave reviews. But this was worth the review. Most evenings include the TV, a brown noise app playing through the speaker, prayers and petitions... but today, it was just the TV at a reasonable volume. I had to strain to hear. I still have about 10 left and I am like what other hard surfaces can place a few of these on! Seriously - changing lives and bringing neighbors together.

Work for sound.. if you can get them to stick
Installing was easy, I followed instructions and used a hair dryer since they didn’t lay out before hand. They definitely shrink back because we were left with gaps in between all the tiles. Fast forward a couple weeks and they started falling off the wall. I’ve now tried command strips, double sided foam mounting strips with super glue and as of today it’s not holding. The command strips stay on the wall, just nothing will stick to these dang foam panels to keep them up. Wouldn’t buy again! Now off to see what other glue will get them to hopefully finally stay put!
