Don't know how they make it for the price
It's a bench PSU. It acts like a bench PSU should. It's overkill for a tinkerer such as myself, but it is really good for its purpose.

Seems great
I will note that I have only just got this today but I must admit I am pleased how much tech has moved on since I purchased my last switching bench supply. The screen is bright and clear, there a loads of options and the build quality looks really good. There are big heatsinks inside and an sort of semi intelligent fan which appears to be RPM based on the current load. I guess it'd make more sense for it to be temperature based but perhaps not!I'm sure this will make future electronic jobs and repairs a joy.

Top-class programmable power supply, so good I bought two!
Rarely do I use the term "outstanding" but we'll deserved IMHO given the price and the enormous amount of features packed in to the excellent power supply. The programmable voltage/current profiles are singularly useful being able to quickly switch between common 3v3 and 5v0, 1.8v limited to 20mA for quick testing of LEDS.

Very useful tool
A real gem of a power supply, the fact that it is all switch mode digital made such a difference compared to the chonky old analog regulated supply that it replaced. The computer control aspect made it even better!

Bench power supply
The unit come very well packed. Work very nice and it's very precise. User manual is a joke, in chinglish, but you can find an updated one on web.

Two of these PSU's purchased, both faulty. :-(
This is the second unit that I have purchased that is faulty. The first one kept shutting down and this one, the output dies if you touch the positive output terminal. And to add insult to injury, it was £50.80 when I bought it a week ago, but now it's £65.97. So, if I return it for a refund and re-purchase it, it will cost me £15 more.
