Better late than ever to write a review. Sorry it took so long. I love this book. I have used it a number of times to make gifts for friends....pillows, framed fabric photos and a small lap quilt with fabric photos of 3 grandkids for a friend. The quality of the book is good with a sturdy, glossy paperback cover and good quality paper used for hte pages. I would certainly recommend this book to someone who is experienced in sewing and has the time to give to the projects n the book.

I TOOK A CLASS WITH CHARLOTTE WARR ANDERSEN AT THE INTERNATIONAL QUILT SHOW. HER WORK IS STUNNINGLY PRECISE, AND WHILE I AM UNLIKELY TO EVER ATTEMPT REVERSE APPLIQUE AGAIN, THIS REPRINT GIVES PRECISE DIRECTIONS ON HER PROCESS, BUT IS EASILY ADAPTABLE TO OTHER STYLES OF APPLIQUE & THREAD PAINTING. CLOSEUPS & STEP BY STEP OF FACIAL FEATURES (ESPECIALLY EYES) VERY HELPFUL.

I had been looking for this book, so it's exactly what I expected. The condition was good for a used book. Very happy with this purchase.

Okay as far as how to transfer a photo into a pattern. The samples I found to be clunky, need the edges to transition better.
