I previewed before buying. It is a million times well researched than the other "Official CCSP Guide" I first bought (a disaster
Yes I want to be the first to review this book.I previewed this book before buying and I had the impression it was very well researched and coherent from section to section and chapter to chapter. I must also so this is the second book I am buying for the same exam and the first one was a disaster. I mean a total disaster. This book appears to have been very well researched and reviewed, not only for the content but also on how it is organized and presented to the reader for easy comprehension. The examples in the book help readers relate to what they might already know all in an effort to ease comprehension. The reader of this review may think I have been paid to write this but sorry I am just a buyer as you. I just tried reading the other so called "Official CCSP Guide" and could not read pass chapter one. I cursed on every page as it looked like a copy paste for fast publication.I will update you as soon as I pass the certification exam.

Fantastic reference book for the certification
Fantastic reference book for the certification. 8 years of ICT experience + CISSP + this book = CCSP certification. The CCSP was designed to be taken after completing CISSP. After sitting the exam, I agree with this.Pros:Exam Essentials sections - Excellent guide to follow if your objective is to pass the exam. Most concepts are arranged well for easy absorption.Very easy to read language.Cons: Errata issues - check the books official page for information on this.A few undeveloped ideas. (e.g. light on details) - this specially seemed to be the case, as I am comparing this to the Official Study Guide for CISSP from Wiley.A few editing issues.

great prep for exam
This is a great text to prep for the CCSP exam. I've been working in this field for many years, so I did not take any classes and used primarily this book to prepare, along with review of some of the references included in the text, and I passed the exam on first attempt. However there were some topics on the test that were not well covered by the book, and test wording can be very tricky, so unless you have extensive experience in Cloud and Security, you may need to do more preparation using the many references cited in this book.

Best Study Guide Ever!
This study guide is the perfect companion to the textbook from ISC2, it's so well written and will greatly add to your understanding. Great value for the price! And having the app on my phone to do quizzes means that no matter how busy I am I can always find a few spare minutes to study every day.

Mediocre material but still somewhat useful
The CCSP (ISC)2 Certified Cloud Security Professional Official Study Guide is the official study guide for the CCSP. For being an official guide, the book does a mediocre job of preparing students for the CCSP exam. The content of the book is presented fairly well. The concepts are reasonably easy to understand. At times though, it is easy to tell that the book was written by more than one author. Some concepts are repeated or explained out of order. The book distinctly lacks practical examples for key concepts. This makes it difficult to envision these concepts in a meaningful way. The book would certainly benefit from lab activities or practical examples.I did pass my CCSP exam after using this book. However, I had to rely extensively on my knowledge as a CISSP to successfully pass the exam. This book missed a lot of key concepts or only mentioned them in passing.Though, my main complaint with this book are the practice questions at the end of each chapter. These questions are often absolute crap. It’s almost as if no one proofread the questions before including them in the book. Multiple questions listed the wrong answer in the explanations section.Often, the answer is simply too easy or uses multiple red herrings. For example “Which of the following is a technique used to attenuate risks to the cloud environment, resulting in loss or theft of a device used for remote access? A. Remote kill switch, B. Dual Control, C. Muddling, D. Safe harborThe answer is A but Muddling and Safe harbor have nothing to do with this question. I think that the use of red herrings is a lazy method of creating question difficulty.Overall, the book is useful but not the best material. It’s a quick read at 300 something pages but I wouldn’t rely on it as your sole study material.

Musthave for CCSP
Used the official CBK and some online material, but this book beat all of them hands down. The practice tests were worth their weight in gold! Read the book and take EVERY practice question, especially the extra quizzes. The CCSP exam question do not mirror these, but if you understand why the answers are the answers then you'll be fine.
