Carb works good for 2 weeks then started flooding opened carb up and both floats were cracked and full of gas the price to get a new float might aswell just buy a new carb but not this one

This carburetor works perfectly on my hawk 250.

I've bought 2 of these carbs. Overall with tuning this carb has my 230CC CG engine running perfectly...With proper jetting! The stock jetting would have been too lean for the engine leaving performance on the table. The first carb was casted perfectly, no issues with that one. I bought a spare recently. The slide in the carb was jamming against the alignment pin. The piece should have been caught in QC and filed down. I went over it and all is well. It was way off however and should have be caught. The slide jammed to a stop half way down the barrel. Value for the money, you cant beat it. Works just as the 100 dollar mikuni it clones WITH PROPPER JETTING. Bought this for my hawk 250 that after doing mods on, got its carb to gummed up to fix! This Carb came in good shape, but, i found the air mix screw way out 6 turns! so watch for that, also found that the jets (UNMARKED) were in so tight had to put the emulsion tube in a vice to get the jet out! crews all seem a bit tight! But it works and is good value! Follow up have been using now,and find it to be very good, dont even need choke on a start up.idles easy with NO adjustment needed
