Worked perfectly for my couch legs. But did split on due to over tightening.

These particular thread reducers are horrible quality. I attempted to use one and it fractured under very little torque. I tried another and it broke as well. These are made of the most brittle and weak metal I have ever seen. I definitely cannot recommend this product.

Met my need - cat tree house that had 10mm sockets and replacement scratching post with 8mm hardware. Didn’t really need 5 but easier than going out to Home Depot and hoping they had one.

We ran into a problem with the old bed frame being 3/8” not 10mm and couldn’t find any adapters that were 8mm to 3/8”. So we used these 8mm to 10mm after using a tap to retread it to 10mm. Worked great.
