My son needed this book for a project in college

Best Book Ever!!!!

I had to purchase this book for English class since we were covering Ibsen's major works. The one we focused on was A Doll's House and the major conflict most students have is the translation. Rolf Fjelde translated this version; my teacher recommends him and so do I in contrast with any other translator. The book came as promised in new condition, without a scratch to be seen. I'm completely satisfied with the delivery and condition of the book and I enjoyed reading A Doll's House. For students who are looking for a bundle of Ibsen's works, look no further as this is the perfect one. It has four of his major works, including A Doll's House, as previously emphasized and it's the best translation out there.

Although one can get these books online, for those of us who enjoy holding a physical copy of the book, this offers a a great copy of great literature, at a great price.

These are important plays in that they have influenced so many playwrights in regard to the development of characters, intriguing dialogue, the victimization of women, and women who become ruthless. Nevertheless, by today's standards they are contrived.

Great piece of literature! If you’re looking to broaden your mind a little & looking for some female empowerment A dolls house is a must read!

A Doll's house is beautifully classic, everyone should have a read!

The book came in good condition, as expected. Having never read an Ibsen play before, I wasn't sure what to expect when I bought this book for a college class. Only two of the four plays are tolerable. Hedda Gabler, in particular, was my favorite. If you aren't a fan of old-fashioned European plays, don't buy this book.
