The Tattoo Dictionary Hardcover – July 3, 2017

A-Z, 0-9, dictionary style. Very true to the meaning of tattoo dictionary. Have many general classics in there: multiple meanings of roses, skulls, sails, animals, tribal, etc. Not too specific with word selections.

Great idea book

Kinda boring read but it came as expected on good condition

A little disappointed on a lack of some entry’s but it’s still good like it has a lot don’t get me wrong but like you would think for instance it would have all the main animals right? Like a bear bull shark squid koi all animals I have tattooed on me but only like 3 were in the book. As I stated it’s good they just left a lot of things out I felt

I like the concept but I found myself quickly uninterested due to 2/3 of the "tattoo words" not having corresponding illustrations. If you're not already well versed in tattoos, design, or just general history, a lot of the "definitions" will fall flat to the uninformed. Other than that, I like the overall look of the book and it's something different to have out in my shops waiting area.

Nice book...recommend it for anyone that enjoys symbolism.

The auther of this book is obviously nor the most informed or inspired writer. But I guess if you need a coffee table book for the lobby this will do fine. It looks nice, just don't expect to be blinded by knowledge. One the the most insightful (sarcasm) topics found within this dusty tome is "the finger stache". Mind ****ing blown.
