What a great brand! Rich, bready, fresh, and, deeply flavorful. I don't drink a lot of chimarrao so I may not have the best benchmark however if this was the only brand I was able to drink I would do so with zero regrets. Highly recommend.

This maté comes in a bright vacuum-sealed metallic green package, proudly featuring the colors of Rio Grande do Sul, where drinking chimarrão is part of daily culture. The leaves are fresh, bright green, and release a healthy foam when prepared. While the product tastes authentic and delivers multiple flavorful refills, the inner paper insert is a bit annoying since it doesn’t help with pouring or storage. Because the flavor can fade before the printed expiration date, I strongly recommend transferring it to an airtight container and storing it in the freezer to preserve freshness. With the right preparation method—wetting portions gradually—you can get 4–5 very strong, satisfying cups per serving. PROS – Bright, fresh green leaves with authentic flavor – Attractive packaging with regional pride CONS – Flavor is very mild, needs a whole gourd (cuia) to make it taste robust enough – Inner paper insert is useless and was blocking flow of product – Packaging opening can be messy – It is too thin and can easily get your straw (bomba) stuck Overall, this is a solid, authentic maté with strong flavor and a cultural touch, ideal for anyone who enjoys a traditional chimarrão experience when stored and prepared properly. But you must know what you're doing.

The first time I bought it was perfect, but the second time the yerba had no flavor. The seller immediately reimbursed me the amount spent. So I will continue to buy it since I have the security that they will cover the cost if something goes wrong.
