Tires and convertible tops look fabulous!
Mellow finish, not shiny as others have mentioned, just super clean looking rubber. Some 3M automotive products (there are hundreds and maybe 1000's!) are hard to findin retail stores, this is one of them, but are worth tracking down, 3M has a rigorousproduct development process . . .Good for a week or two, generally I apply every other wash.I use a 4X6 sponge after spaying, let sit for 20 minutes and wipe the excess, if any.I also used this on a 10 year old black convertible top with a medium bristle brush as the top istextured and needed to be worked in. B E A U T I F U L and it lasts surprisingly long in this application too.Easy clean up of wheels afterward with a quick final wipe of overspray and your done. No sticky grosshard to clean your hands and nails business with this product like some of the "long lasting gel" type productsthat are out there. Those last a long time but clean up, including fingernails, rags, are a nightmare with thoselong lasting products in my experience.

Works great and nice results.
I like this 3M Tire Restorer because it goes on easily and covers well. It leaves the tire looking great and not real shiny but like new. I don't like the really shiny tire products because it looks peculiar to see a tire that way. I prefer the matte finish where the tire looks like new and clean. I have tried lots of tire products and use this one consistently on my new truck and looks great. Also seems to last awhile. I also like the way it comes out of the spray bottle as it is a nice fan spray that covers a good area. Worth trying if you like to keep your vehicle looking like new.

Great Product
3M Tire Restorer is my favorite tire shine product to use. This product gives the tire a perfect sheen. Not too glossy & not too flat. This product does not fling like most tire shine products. This product is a little pricey, but I believe it is worth it. I use a soft bristle brush to apply the product. Spray the product onto the brush & apply to the tire. This prevents getting over spray on the wheel…….

Probably the Best I've used
Good product. Lasts longer than those offered by most local auto/retail stores. I use it on the black plastic parts of my car's exterior. Works best after about two coats but does give a natural "new car look" to those parts. Also gives the tires a more natural new tire look than the other "retail" products I have used and doesn't streak nearly as bad as those other products. A little pricey though!

Great look and won't damage your rubber!
After doing plenty of research for a tire product that will leave a good looking finish without harming the rubber, I decided to use this 3M product and have been very happy with the results. It does not leave an overly shiny toy car look to the tire, nor does it leave that awful damaged and brown look when it wears off. It leaves the tire looking much closer to a new, freshly mounted look. This spray goes on very evenly with either of the two methods I have applied it. You can spray and use a sponge for even coverage that doesn't drip, or if you don't plan on driving after application, you can just spray a healthy coat over the sidewall and leave it to dry. I usually opt for the latter as the thicker coat lasts a little longer. Just make sure there is no excess before you start driving, otherwise it will spray onto your fenders and down the rest of your car.I have been through 4 bottles and will continue to use this as my primary tire treatment.

Arguably the best tire dressing available
I've tried a lot of tire shine type of products and I never liked any of them because they make the tires look too glossy and the shine substance would drip onto the pavement and stain the ground or splatter onto the side of the car while driving. None of these tire shine products lasted for more than a few days anyway.3M Tire Restorer is different in the sense that it isn't intended to make your tires shine - it makes them look like they did when they were brand new, and that's perfect. I'd say that you get a satin sheen with this product, not glossy, and that's what I want. It lasts a long time (going on a month now) and still looks as good as it did initially. I applied it by wiping it on with a paper towel and I did not need to use a lot. One bottle should last a couple years or more.Buy this if you want your tires to look like new all the time and you will not be disappointed!

Only lasted 2 weeks.
Bought a car with tires turning brown, common effect it seems for the Continental DWS Extremes. I wanted something that can restore the black without making it look too glossy. This was it. Gives the new tire look without the overkill shine. This product was easy to apply, to avoid overspray I sprayed it onto a foam applicator and then rubbed it onto the tires. Will update with more pictures to see how long it lasts.8/30/2016 UpdateOkay so since the photos I took these only lasted a 2 weeks. My tires have since then returned to its original state. Lowering rating from 5 stars to 3. I like the effects but it doesn't really get rid of the brown parts of my tires.
