These plastic vented pots are exactly what I needed for my orchids. Material is somewhat flexible and not super hard. Venting on the sides and drain holes are great. The saucers are a really nice size and very sturdy plastic.

I grow orchids and nepenthes. My wife saw an orchid she had to have. The stems alone were 2 1/2 feet tall. Leaves giant. Never thought about potting it at the time. If you want a ceramic 8 inch pot at close to a decent price...forget it. Plastic either for that matter. Just get these and move on. I hadn't used clear pots before. Being able to see if there is algae buildup or moisture is a bonus. I like to repot every two years. Moss isn't terrible but can get pricy when you have as many plants in it as I do. So being able to see it and judge when to repot is nice. The plastic these pots are made of is plyable not brittle. I have to saw tho mine are not in the sun..........they are in a grow tent.
